Hi Rob. I happen to have my gearbox out & it's reminded me that I could do with replacing my lever. I assume you're in/around Bristol. What would be your best price if I were to come & collect (if you're close enough to me!)

I cut mine off but left 2" attached to the chassis. The removed bit is now easily re-attachable( if that's a word) If you're still looking at this let me know & I'll go in to more detail.

My lights had a big plug on the end of the cable that connects to the control box, so I undid the light unit itself & unsoldered the wires. Drilled small holes, pushed the cable through, & re-soldered. No big holes, & didn't need to remove the scuttle (but if you are going to remove it anyway, might I suggest M4 rivnuts & bolts rather than rivets)
