  1. What do you consider expensive Graham?
  2. Rob: My X-flows have never leaked, the occasional belch or fart, but no leaks No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  3. Would a BDR be a better choice? Would it be less expensive or more?
  4. Yes you can shoe horn an S2000 engine into a Caterham. What's the point?!?!?
  5. I will be trading my driver side inertia belt for a 4 point this Spring, had the 4 point on my previous Seven. You just get used to the 4. Ditch the reel. No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  6. Brent: Perhaps you should have Arnie whip you up some carbon clams You have quite a sale on. Wish I could have bought your whole motor. Its power was insane, and getting better No need to waste time on a K! Cheers! P.S. Date for new arrival July 16 (best guess)
  7. Thought I had found the economy size, but it was just the wife's toy 😳 No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  8. I have the Lucas electronic ignition on my 91 X-flow Super Sprint. How good are these systems? And I'll have one of those damp tarts please
  9. But I like how the Prisoners look, and Minators+AO-21's are not easy to come by out here in the Colonies. Detroit is still selling ox carts, which are appropriate for some of our roads/drivers.
  10. I am currently running Goodyear Eagles on prisoner wheels, but they are old & hard 😳. Are the Kumho's available? Anyone have experience with Eagles? Cheers! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  11. The standard axle will take mild abuse and power in the mid hundreds, though you may have bearing issues. I believe an LSD can be had. Some avitar will be along soon to give you more details I'm sure. Cheers!
  12. I have standard seats, need to pull them out fo the four point harness instal. Are there any pit-falls here? Cheers! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  13. You have to love the X-flow! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  14. Hammerite stone chip shield My wife says she wants to hold your knob until Christmas, Bruce 😳 Brent has it for now. Many thanks. Cheers! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion 6 speed
  15. Bruce: If you want to sell the incorrect knob I may be interested. Have fun with the assembly! Cheers!
  16. Nick: Since its only [W]estfield you could always sell it and pick one up here (check Ebay under Lotus 😳) though it would likely be expensive. Mountains and red rock up toward Sedona *thumbup* were made for Se7ens! Fantastic drive! 1997 Cross flow, burning leaded fule(100 0ctane), right hand drive, full title and plate Just the way it should be. 😬 You don't have two years to wade through the paper work. Just call it latteral thinking. How long will your insurance cover you for........ Then get an extension, or tell them you are going back after a very short stay in the UK and want to do it again. Cheers! Michael Full of blag Yank
  17. Nick: I would keep all the insurance isssues on your side of the pond. U.S. insurance companies will not touch a foreign registered car. The laws vary from State to State, but...... not likely. My Seven is straight UK spec, unmodified, but the hoops you must jump through to get it by the Feds are many. Plates are little problem once it's in. The local plod will have a hard time making tickets stick with a UK plate Could be loads of fun. Where will you be? Email if you need local support. Cheers! Michael No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  18. I guess now would not be a good time to bring up the Zetec option 😳 No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  19. We have had good luck with lawn tractor batteries. In a pinch they work just fine. I know it sounds bad, but out here in the colonies you have to improvise once in a while Cheers! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  20. Yet another good reason to equip my garage with a lift! Off to explain this to the boss. Perhaps she will see it as a safety measure! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  21. Can't say riding in the old MGB was very smelly with the top up or down, but the TR3 gave off a terrible stench, even after an engine rebuild. I think the vortex theory is under rated IMHO. I will be switching to side exaust on the new Super Sprint just to find out. If the joints are not sealing try muffler paste. Should be easy to locate, in the same section as gaffer tape and bailing wire at Halfrauds. Cheers
  22. Have had similar issues with my old Sprint. Turbulence pulling exaust gas into the car. It could also be from the crank case vent, as these engines can breath rather heavily when worn. If it is pulling exaust in over the back the solution is a side exit system. Cheers! No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  23. My new Se7en has clams, hope they are as enjoyable to drive.... A little less mund on the elbow would be nice. Its all a matter of personal taste, or a lack there of No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
  24. No wonder that Carpenter chic starved herself to death No officer, the wheel is on the RIGHT side. Red Super Sprint De Dion Soon!
