Any sort of hub puller (I used the agricultural three arm variety) will hook over the back of the hub. Looks like alarge gear puller. It really isn't a bad job.

The rubber engine mount on the lower chasis rail has just gone to bits ☹️ Is this a Caterham specific part, or is it found on another vehicle? Better get/borrow the pages from the manual. Disassembly is pretty straight forward, but changing the bearing is a bit painful (press fit on shaft) operation. The only real cure is a better shaft, or Ford rear end. Neither are that expensive compared to an accident.

Ronbo My old x-flow had the same battery location. Graham has the right approach for the budget minded. I used a 325 amp garden tractor battery from Walmart. $19.95 plus tax.
