Hi The garage said that 'it was worth it whilst the pads were being done' as it is recomended in the industry. Funny enough, they were not prepared to put it in writing. No scoring or thickness issues or it would have failed. Thank you all very much Mr G

Hi General brake question... Can anyone tell me if it is necessary to change the discs everytime you change the pads. My car (Peugeot 307) failed the MOT on pads only and the garage are telling me that you should always change the pads and discs together when you need new pads? I didn't think this was so. Thanks! Hi I would like to undertake a project and buy a 1800k from the breakers yard, buy a tuning package and squeeze 230+bhp from this unit. I am not considering the Duratec route as I already own a 1800K and one mortgage is enough. The reason for the second engine is because with my very novice abilities, I think that it will take a large chunk of my life whilst tuning at leisure. 1,Does anyone know where to get a tuning package and build advice from? 2, how much? 3, I've heard that the rover freelander uses a 2 litre k series.
