  1. No... its not a K Series HG!! On an old Land Rover (Lightweight 2.25 petrol) ... I cleaned the fuel filter (glass jar thing) a few weeks ago and it contained a few lumps of white gunky stuff. Anyway, did not really think too much of it but then last week it conked out because of petrol starvation and the filter was full of this white stuff again and I found more in the tank 🙆🏻 Any suggestions as to what this can be? We have had it about 5 years and have never seen this stuff before Am guessing condensation is causing it but have never seen it do this to petrol.
  2. I have one of these here if of interest. Pease BM if of interest. Cheers Stuart Edited by - Stuart McGill on 2 May 2010 23:39:26
  3. I am tempted by this! Could I have some photos please? Just need to check the birthday present situation! Yhm Stuart
  4. Lots on VW and Audi forum... another one here
  5. 😳 😳 😳 😳 Was it a Superwinch one Andy? I won't edit the above but ask for offers then? I saw an identical one go on ebay for £120 a few weeks ago.... hence the £100.
  6. I have a Superwinch X2 that has been taken off a Land Rover that is the same (I think) as this one here. I was going to stick it on ebay but thought I would try you guys first It did have a switch on the end that you rotated back and forth for forwards and backwards but this does not work anymore so you have to wire it up direct to a 12v supply. There are two terminals that you can use. Please BM for photos for a clearer explanation! £100 + DELIVERY (its heavy!) Stuart
  7. Comma stuff should be availble from local motor factors...
  8. I had the same problem a few weeks ago for about 10 minutes and realised I was being a muppet and pulling (or not pulling ) the boss back when putting it on.... Sorry, can't remember how you put it back on now as I have not had the car long enough!
  9. YHM re the tonneau please.
  10. assuming its right in the first place
  11. Measure the oil coming out and then you will know how much to put back in
  12. I would have said it was a dodgy lead until you said the battery was reading 3.7 when turning over in which case it sounds like a battery problem. Best to wait for a more technical/ educated response though!
  13. Malcolm - Thanks for the offer. Was looking for a 'normal' aero really .... would a brooklands give me the same experience? I don't think a brooklands would suit my car but as a demo it would be okay I guess. Without sounding ungrateful I'll wait and see what comes along if thats okay!? Warren - At least if I do go aero I won't be questionning whether I can take it out in the rain to go for my MOT 😬 😬
  14. I would like to try running with an aero but before I commit to buying one i'd be interested in borrowing one if anyone local as one....? Preferablly interchangeable and with mirrors. Thanks.
  15. And if your front wings touch (or almost touch) your indicator pods on full lock then you probably have narrow track
  16. Any pockets for tillets?
  17. Kevin - i'll pass on the tonneau cover but thanks anyway.
  18. Does this tonneau cover have tillet pockets? Also, is it actually cutout for the petty strut or just marked for it? Dibs please dependent. Thank you.
  19. I have a spare one I think. Carbon Fibre effect, think it came from Halfords. BM me if your interested and i'll check the condition. Stuart
