  1. Do you have a heat shield fitted? If so might be worth removing & checking that the rattle is not coming from the heat shield, as the spot welds holding the "U" barckets to the shield through which the jubilee clips pass can fail. (Mine did) Sigma SteVe

  17. Forget the Aero filler, unless you you dont mind the hassle of filling up using the Hunchback "euro" nozzles and a wire coat hanger ❗ Sigma SteVe
  18. Jason Have you done that? Did it cure the problem? Sigma SteVe
  19. Are the new "batch" of rads still plastic/metal combination? Sigma SteVe
  20. Seeing as how many of us Sigma owners are having radiator problems, I though I would ask how many are having trouble with Wobbly Headlights. The metric chassis has a different fastening for the top headlight stabiliser bar. It is attached to the chassis in a tube, with just one screw holding it into the tube, whereas the Arch chassis had a split tube with two bolts clamping the bracket in the split tube. The result in the metric chassis is that as there is only one point that the bracket is fastened, there is I believe a tendency for harmonic vibrations to occur. I have mentioned this to CC at at least two services, but all they do is tighten the screw to say they have fixed it. Are any others getting this symtom 🤔 Seems worse on my offside headlamp, and once you've noticed it, it is hard to stop noticing it. Sigma SteVe Edited by - steve cornford on 16 Dec 2008 18:32:56
  21. Ditto from me ❗ Leaking radiator x *mad* After the third one blew, repaced it with the all metal triple pass. Once the radiator goes, if you have topped the system up,and dried everything off, start the car and when all is warm, you will see water appearing around the seam where the black plastic top part is crimped to the the metal part. What temperature is the radiator fan coming on at? Sigma SteVe Edited by - Steve Cornford on 16 Dec 2008 09:53:53
  22. Inside leg measurement (lower edge between the inside radius corners) 90cms. Outside leg measurement ( between the bottom pointy bits) 102cms. /<--- 90 cms ---> / /<---- 102 cms -----> Sigma SteVe
  23. On my factory built sigma 125 - metric chassis, the washer bottle bracket is rivetted centrally to the passenger front footwell panel. This sometimes produces a rattle caused by (un)"symapthetic" vibrations at certain levels of washer fluid. Sigma SteVe
  24. CC have already been involved in research & development of a "Coretex" (carbon fibre braid) de Dion tube see Coretex de Dion Weight came in at 4.8kg, a 36% saving over the standard 7.68kg In fact a complete 7 chassis based on the CSR has been producedCoretex Chassis Sigma SteVe
