  1. Hello from a fellow Sigma owner, sorry to read about your starting woes. What county are you in? There might be a member near you that already has the diagnostic cable & could help?
  2. Good idea about the button colours.
  3. Hi Jonathan, our thoughts coincide. I have adopted a convention of one suggestion per topic in the hope that it might get resolved. When I click on the login button (on Windows 7, IE) the fact that the title HOMEis in a large font means that having entered my username, I then have to scroll down to get at the login button. Then on forums and topics the large title font again wastes space. I would have thought that this is a relatively easy change to make to the "style".
  4. Please could the forum and topic titles be in a much smaller FONT?
  5. Have you read this https://www.drupal.org/getting-started/before/overview ? I thought I would try & find out what Drupal is!
  6. In the list of topics within any particular forum there was a column headed views. It now seems to have disappeared Are we on a new version now?
  7. Can we lose some white space or make some text smaller so that you don't have to scroll down to see that (Login) button. Just need a login form that is sized to fit on one screen full, if that makes sense?
  8. Hi Ray, thanks for your reply Yes I did know that, but first you have to scroll back up to that place.... More efficient to just have a [button] to click on Also I would personally like the buttons to be more colourful (instead of grey) Just hope they are using the X11 colour set
  9. A the bottom of each reply to a topic there is what I call a Reply Button Line containing grey buttons. At the top of the Topic there are some more red buttons, perhaps I could call this line the Topic Button Line. I have an outstanding request that a [bottom] button be added adjacent to the [top] button on the Reply Button Line. In fact for consistency with the Topic Button Line, perhaps these two buttons should be re-labelled [First] & [Last] I would also like to add a request for a [Topics] button that would have the action of returning you to the list of Topics within the current Forum. While we are at it can we also have [Forum] to return to the list of Forums?
  10. Some might that what was first a regulation brought in to provide clear labellng of tyre characteristics to guide consumer choice, has now become a policy of NOT allowing consumer choice. Am I right in thinking that tyres are now encoded with a year of manufacture? If so is there a limit for raod use to the age of your tyres? What is the UKIP policy on tyre noise, wet performance & rolling efficiency? I think I know their policy on real ale
  11. Don't know the answer, but I have read your question. I assume 17.4.2014 was date of intitial data transfer.
  12. Thank you for listening (ok I mean reading) to my http://www.lotus7.club/forum/suggestions/buttons suggestion. Perhaps [send author a message] button could be replaced with the less verbose [blatmail author] button? Can we have a [bottom] button? I could not resist clicking on the Smiley button, so many to choose from now For instance , just hope I never have to use Amazing what you can learn by clicking on "Text formats options" then on http://www.lotus7.club/forum/suggestions/buttons
  13. At the bottom of each secion of "reply" text there is aline containing a [top] button on the left and a [reply] button on the right. I shall call this the [button] line. Can we have a [bottom] button next to the [top] button? Can the "Report this post" option be made into a [report this post] button and moved to the [button] line. This would give a consistent appearance and also SAVE a lot of WHITE SPACE! http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.pnghttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/sad_smile.pnghttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.pnghttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.pnghttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/lightbulb.png 1st edit, just noticed that there is an [edit] and a [delete] button, on the [button] line. So it makes even more sense (to me anyway) for [actions] to be represented by [buttons] rather than a bit of red text floating in a sea of white.
  14. While website/forum is being developed & presumably a "new version" is installed can a version number be displayed somewhere, possibly on the red banner at the left hand end? This would help us (the members) see that the design is evolving.http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/lightbulb.png
  15. I'm almost up to 60,000 miles in a 2007 SV with the type 9 gearbox, but luckily do not suffer "grind and rattle" in any gear on overrun. What caused the diff. replacement? Are the Universal Joints ok?
  16. Heading west just before Partridge Green. I was in red 7 heading east
  17. Heading east on A272, Bucks Barn area I was in red 7 heading west. You were sporting a natty bandana Edited by - steve cornford on 17 Apr 2014 08:18:26
  18. *wavey*Thanks Paul for your prompt response, but..... That is the female part ... I need the male part ... I will give redline a try
  19. My side screens have armrests that are bolted to the side screen, and also have a fastener with a male prong, that clips into a female socket attached to the chassis. Does anyone know what this type of fastener is called & where I might get replacements? Preferably stainless as my ones are rusted through.
  20. Hope this helps... Just measured mine, Metric SV chassis About 18 cms high, and the side with the screws is about 11 cms long The cover is about 14 cms wide. Fits snugly into the angle formed by the rear panel & the floor with no gaps whatsoever.
  21. You could go over to the dark side & get one of these with a hole in the bonnet 😬
  22. Hi Myles Hellier have issued this guidance since receiving two complaints after the first 30 sales.
  23. SV Highest point of motor is the top of the oil filler cap, clearance to bonnet 20mm. However on Sigma 160 the air intake has a metal plate that gives about 10mm clearance to bonnet, and the block of foam that is mounted on this plate actually touches the bonnet. Hopefully someone with an S3 can respond with their measurements.
  24. Don't know of this helps, but you might want to consider fitting a temperature strip to the outside of your oil filter housing first in order to check the maximum temperature that your oil has reached at this point. See page 26 of the Think Automotive catalogue. Also page 9 asks the question "What temperature?" Hopefully an export will be along shortly to help.
