  1. Will the chap who replied to my ad in Low Flying please get in touch again - I have accidentally deleted his email 07801 425 457 timnicholson@btinternet.com
  2. I got Alcons fitted to the fronts by James Whiting and they transformed the car - no need to upgrade the rears or the master cylinder
  3. Nigel Fox has the right approach imho. There will also be a slight increase in pressure due to the rise in temperature as the tyres warm up - proportional to 1/273 per deg C of your starting pressure. I really wouldn't have thougth you would notice any difference in handling due to these effects.
  4. Fuel gauges notoriously unreliable. Recommend finding out how far you can go on a tankful and zeroing the trip meter each time you fill up. Only ran dry once while "finding out how far I could go on a tankful"
  5. Exmog - how easy is it to get at the tank to attach the bit of hose - I only get about 180 miles before it dries up
  6. If you are only spirited road use I can't see that you need to use anything other than Comma
  7. You should be OK... mine passed with no problems; although it's on (I think) the 4th ECU map. So it doen't seem that emissions are a problem on Sigmas, but feedback will be welcome!
  8. I have insured with MSM for the last 3 years & recommend them. Tel 01279 870 535
  9. Around 5:15 p.m. on A4 going into Woodley roundabout. Crew of 2 with helmets
  10. Silver in layby on A41 late morning
  11. I leave my Maplin one out in the open - so far so good
  12. Have recently tried the Maplins solar charger after comprehensively flattening the Banner and it semms to work fine
  13. Usual problems with battery with cold weather - saw ad in flyer for Maplin Electronics solar powered trickle charger with fag lighter attachment, £12.99. Is this worth a try? (I can't get the car near a 240 volt socket to use a "proper" charger) Tim N
