  1. Enjoy the day. Very interested to hear how it feels after as I have a 310.
  2. The two diagrams are almost the same except that the diagram in #27 is flipped ie viewed from the fuse side. The descriptions are clearer too eg 17= Cam Sensor instead of Acc Pedal. I will use yours in #27 thank you.
  3. I have the exact same values of fuse but the CC diagram shows the fuse layout viewed from the rear (not the fuse side). The diagram says viewed from fuse entry.
  4. Thank you. Looks the same as my 310R. I've saved a copy.
  5. "It's a shame we went elsewhere" a shame for who? ;)
  6. Which reminds me that I still have this sat in the corner of the garage gathering dust! I though I might take a look inside but it is probably time for it to go.
  7. Thanks to Geoff for taking the lead and initiative. I think many of us bought a new open diff from CC - it is just that we didn't want to continue down the Titan LSD route for obvious reasons. In the industries I have worked our #1 priority would be to make it right for the customer in the best way possible. The cost would then go down the supply line to whoever was at fault. IMO the carbon plate version would be classed as epidemic failure.
  8. Plenty available for free. I use this one occasionally to check my Speedo. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/speedometer-55-start-gps-box/id557871911
  9. I chose A-Plan at a time when comments were rather more positive. An actual claim experience gives some real insight. However, does anyone else offer windscreen cover AND [5] inclusive track days as standard and also a low excess of £1,000 for claims on track? My two previous insurance brokers covered windscreen OR track days and the excess was much higher.
  10. See if the exhaust primaries rattle or move or seem a loose fit. See the attached which was mine - albeit an extreme case but was certainly drawing air in. Looking over threads about MOT failures, often it is because of running lean. Do Caterhams really run lean?

  12. If it helps Geoff, my 152hp 310R carbon plate diff was knackered at 4,000 miles. The carbon plate versions certainly were not fit for purpose. Good luck!
  13. Is it running lean or possibly sucking air in through the exhaust joints [and thereby reading lean on the tester's sensor]?
  14. This is a internet photo of a Sigma 150. Do you not have the submarine circled blue or the senders in green?
  15. Actually this looks like the earth connection on John's photo.
  16. My Sigma is similar to John's Duratec. The sender has a single green wire. I didn't notice when I was in the garage but I presume the metal housing has an earth connection. Worth checking that.
  17. #25 My 2017 Sigma isn't like the photo above. Mine is on the top of the b/h (see photo below taken from top). I used Geoff's instructions for bleeding using a jam jar, tube and helper to operate the clutch to my instructions. Perhaps there is a bit more room around it on the Sigma but mine wasn't difficult to change the fluid.
  18. I think it must be easier on the Sigma. It is a bit awkward on my 2017 but nothing more than that. It is located on the top of the b/h but not under a plate.
  19. #13 take a look at the video. Ignore the first parts. The finishing is in the later sections. My mistake was doing it over winter in a unheated garage. It was too cold to cure properly. The good thing is you just sand it down and have another go. This is what I used.
  20. #30 no club discount. £5 a tyre more expensive than CC but in stock. Delivery £16 a pair. I am just happy to have them. I will probably by a full set at the end of the year to see me through.
  21. My 310R leaky cap story. The original with level switch leaked. Replaced the cap with another, still leaked. Removed some fluid so it was just above the minimum and the dash light occasionally flashing, stopped the leak but not totally happy to take it on track with the light flashing under acceleration. Took 7WotW's advice and put a smear of RRG on the rubber seal, filled fluid to normal level and bingo, no leaks even on track. I think the RRG creates a better seal but also stops the rubber seal creasing as the cap tightens down on to it.
  22. That's where my rears are at the moment ie 1mm above the markers. I will do a Donington evening session in a couple of weeks and that will be it. Just ordered a replacement pair direct from Avon so they are ready to fit.
  23. #23 I try to leave it to the wear indicators. As you say, there isn't much to start with!
  24. Looking at you previous photos I couldn't see a leak. I think the splatter around the UJ is normal as it is a greased joint and it flings the excess out.
  25. #21 The chatter on overrun in 4th seems to be reported more on the Sigma and lightened flywheel combo. What engine is yours? Agree the Redline gearbox oil makes the Mazda box a delight.
