  1. With RallyX such an upcoming sport I thought I would give it a go 😬 Anyway I blame the tyres
  2. See I always practice what I preach here
  3. My Practice run (that I mnaged to actually complete) 😔 Nearly off into Fradley first lap - think I actually reached the grass before it turned! Really didn't feel as composed as it looked. here
  4. No No Grass for me And I have video to prove it. Tarmac all the way. Anyway - I' don't care who or how anyone got on with the grass at Curbs Mr Ward is the true owner. NEVER NEVER try to hush it up *nono* *nono* *nono*
  5. These were just short of £580 incl the vat £350 anyone?
  6. Mr Margel - just pretend this hand icon isn't using the thumb but another finger 😬
  7. No not a joke. I think its a love them or hate them thing. 1 Set of A24 compound ZZR tyres. 185 fronts 215 rears. 3 Events only. Can deliver off the rims to Gurston Down. or ship direct. I'll take sensible offers. At least Mel will be smiling
  8. Dam missed a trick. The car should have been blue with meteor's all over it!!!!!! But I did spy John Ward taking to the grass. Kept that quiet! Given his secrecy I think the yellow trowel should be his rather than Mr Gibs. I'll contact S4c for all the out takes!
  9. I may have some bargains at Beaulieu for Club members only. Only 4 left and I won't be making them again.
  10. Now I don't mind having an extra 7 in the garage or even the little Fiat but there comes a point when you have to draw the line
  11. Entries in post. But I won't be in Class 6 (Lotus 7 Club) on Saturday - Class 7 for me 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬
  12. You will be very lucky to find a 3.14 as the are THE ratio for the Busa Boys 😬 You will pay a huge premium for them IF and I'll say I'FF again you can find one. Hens teeth would be easier. However - I do have a 3.38 available
  13. You think that's wild. Wait till I post mine! It's actually quite amazing how mild that car looks. Bussa was like a caged animal all day. It doesn't look like that in the video though. Could never be so progressive on the throttle. Good run and the cobbles seem to have some amazing grip might try that next year Edited by - NoLimits on 14 May 2013 07:42:06
  14. Car washed, trailer washed, me washed and Lynn washed 😳 Nice glass of red in hand. Good fun today. Hope everyone had a good trip home. See you Sunday.
  15. I have a well known and I might say Class 4 possible Champion calling around tomorrow night to get his car corner weighted. I also have another so called Welshman Dai the pit monkey living next door. Should I allow him to see the settings I give my customer tomorrow night. I have already set up Dai's car (but I don't really want him to see that I have not set it up very well for him - it may be entertaining for us though 😬) How can I hide what I do to my punters car I could just build a taller fence and mace it 5ft tall and that would prevent him seeing anything 😬
  16. I'll be there for both days, Dai and Kev will be there on the Sunday. I hope to have a set of sticky smooth round things for the Saturday so that the monster Puma with +600bhp and four wheel drive that holds the hill record and only went quicker by 1 sec has something to think about!
  17. Ah will have no influence on the ""power" of the battery - its a measure of the longevity. TBH once its started the car and so long as the alternator is working you could manage with zero Ah. Of course it would then not have the power to start the car again. You need to look for the CCA - Cold Cranking Amps. This is a measure for how strong the battery is.
  18. I would go for a dry joint - loose wire - disturbed when you replaced the ECU. It simply would not have run on your ECU afterwards otherwise. IMHO of course.
  19. Its a long time since I had standard dampers on the car so I may well be wrong. However I always had some washers between the bush and the tube on the bottom in order to provide clearance. I'll try and look through some old pics of my original build. You have me thinking now
