  1. Trailers are dangerous things !!- Honest
  2. Does any body have a spare preferably yellow.
  3. I am getting really p*ssed off with the nonsense about bike engined cars on the road. Why is everybody an expert ? They are so much easier to drive than the heavy Metro derived engines - you just have to remember that the clutch was designed to be used by a hand lever rather than some moronic size 12 Doc Marten. You only need to use it on downchanges anyway! Get a Fireblade - you can save yourself 6k on your budget to pay for Trackdays and driving tuition . My car a JW Blade did over 1000 track miles last year and was quick enough to frighten me and a few others. You will not regret it 1
  4. It is true. It is difficult with a BEC so I put a second fog light on instead -just for Spa
  5. Well done Tony . What service please let me have your address and I will send a cheque
  6. You only get what you pay for. I have had three Machine Mart ones . The first lasted two weeks , the second eleven and a half months, the third one being used twice before it too backed up, and Machine Mart now claim that their warranty runs only from the original purchase date. So I now have a Sealy one and rest assured I will not be giving Machine Mart any further businness
  7. I seem to recall that at the Club Track day at Lyden it was the Metro derived engines that went bang rather than the BECs.
  8. This is the a real problem with the Fireblade. The sensor if it is the magnetic proximity one supplied by James Whiting needs to be as close as possible to the propshaft bolts about 5 to 10 thou. You can check if it is working by checking the resistance across the two contacts needs to be about 400 ohms Alternatively you can fit a sensor with a built in LED from Farnell # 5300293. Much easier to install but you need to make a mounting bracket. For more info speak to Andy at Speedy Cables 01639 732299. However I have mashed two sensors up when slipping off the black stuff and am trying to find a way of using the sensor that Honda have fitted to the engine.
