  1. It is only the early MB wheels that are a problem. Many cars race with MB wheels in historic formulas so go ahead and keep looking. Nick
  2. As said surely your first call is to the garage that serviced it not Blatchat Nick

    Goodbye from Me

Thanks Geoff, always enjoyed the club days you have organised and have always been oblivious to the hard work that must go on behind the scenes which shows what a good job you have done . Who's got your nice Hayabusa now 🤔 Nick
  4. Debbie Email sent to your Waitrose address Nick
  5. Colleague of mine has one available. Blatmail me your phone number. Nick
  6. Work colleague of mine has 1 Ticket for Sunday at the Goodwood Revival Available face value £60. Reply here if you want it. Nick
  7. Thanks Jason. You can never have too much carbon 🥰 😬
  8. May be he is a very good driver and does have sensors and timing equipment
  9. I shared a garage at Brands Hatch on the Club trackday that had the RS Performance V6, with 600bhp. The guy who owned the car said that they had a fair bit of trouble dealing with Pectel and were thinking of using another ECU instead. The car sounded awesome, although probably a handful in the wet conditions 😬 Nick
  10. Sorry but when you said carbon I thought you were talking about proper prepreg not the stuff Tillet make for Caterham. It seems to be getting harder to source good prepreg parts now, not sure why? Nick
  11. It is not an issue, it is Sikoflexed on to the bars and is not flexible . The hole point of carbon is it is thin but strong and lightweight. Nick
  12. Begs the question, why don't Caterham supply flexible hoses as standard? £50 makes it a no brainer Nick
  13. Got flexible lines on mine. Available at reasonable cost from Caterham, I.e. about £50 for the three hoses. Nick
  14. There are two versions of the MB wheels, the later version is a different casting and as far as I am aware has not failed. Both versions look similar but the thickness of the castings are different and there is the initials MB cast into the newer stronger design. Nick
  15. I have both MB Split Rims and some Image split rims, both around about the same size in width and 13" and the MB wheels are so much lighter, although the centres are magnesium. Worth getting him to give you a figure for how much lighter they are going to be. Nick
  16. You could try the BTMA here There is this British Standard, not sure how would see the details without buying though? Tyres and wheels. Tyres. General. Method of test for measuring tyre uniformity BS AU 50-1.0.1:1999here. Nick
  17. If you want CR500 or ZZR tyres then Caterham factory at Dartford is the only supplier near London. As for track use, it depends on whether you use them in the rain I suppose. I would have thought the ZZRs would be a handful in the wet but I am sure someone will be along in a minute to blow that theory by saying the opposite. For all round use I would say stick to the CR500, for dry track use then ZZR. It would be best to order them in advance from Caterham and check they are in stock by phone and collect. Nick
  18. Noted Mick, Gerry. Mick can you contact me via email to sort payment, postage if required. Nick
  19. Just been out and measured up the outer rims and they are 2.5" and not 2" as stated - sorry for the confusion. 2GBR - is this Gerry Fincham? Nick
  20. Nick Yes, taken off my Blackbird. They are yours. Nick
