  1. Hi Phil. If it's still available and not dented condition, I'm very interested nick
  2. Yes that sounds like us (8 caterhams) on the way to Lochinver with a short detour (it would be rude not to...) to Applecross.
  3. Hi. Does anyone have a spare wet sump pan for a K series? Happy to consider a repaired one if it doesn't leak! thanks Nick
  4. If you feel comfortable running it up to 6k anyway, how about taking to to a rolling road such as Track n Road to see if they can investigate the problem? My sigma academy car had an intermittent misfire at 5k that was proving very difficult to find so i took it to the two Steves. Took them an hour or so on their rig but eventually they found the problem. Its a round trip of 400 miles for me to trailer the car over but well worth it and we couldn't find the problem locally - it turns out that the bolt holding the earth lead (engine mount to chassis) was very slightly lose and causing the problem. Cleaned and tighted and all sorted. The other earth leads were fine including the main battery to bellhousing one that you'd think would be all the car needs. They only charged me for a couple of hours work so not a full RR setup and it was fitted between a couple of other jobs.
  5. At 8.30 this morning heading towards the M6 at Bucklow Hill. Pair of wheels strapped to your roll bar. Were you on your way for Curborough testing?
  6. I have got a full system for S3 k series if interested? It's the one with collector inside the engine bay and single pipe through sideskin.
  7. Throttle Pot Sensor? Mine went during a run after stopping for fuel.... If there is another K series owner who is local, see if you can borrow their's to check on your car
  8. Hi Andrew. Saw you too on Sunday morning around 9.00 am as you were close to the Llandudno junction. I just hadn't got round to sticking the spotted up!
  9. Blue caterham MX14... Heading towards sunny weather. We were trundling along in a motorhome and trying not to hold you up! :)
  10. Parked at Le Mans Classic and then sitting in the traffic trying to get into the Eurotunnel yesterday
  11. Stafford Vehicle Components/SVC is the usual place to buy 5 3/4" lights. Get the bulb upgrade for around a tenner. They used to do a discount for club members ISTR
  12. Try angling them slightly towards the front of the car as you pull or tap them upwards. From memory there is a small bar in the seat that stops them moving up or down unless you want them to
  13. Thanks Neil.. I should be sorted but if anyone does has a boot cover for non hoodsticks i'm interested still
  14. Plenty of grassy areas to pitch a tent at the circuit plus showers and loos available and the clubhouse too
  15. Well done to James and Dave for organising a great event. Plenty of driving time and just one very short stoppage for the whole day and no accidents at all. Dominic definitely thought the track tuition by Phil (and Merrick / James) was excellent and well worth having as it helped him drive for the rest of the day and to practise his lines. Thanks to Caterham for their support and the 620 was a real hoot! Cheers Nick
  16. No such fancy stuff on my blackbird. It doesn't even have a pressure gauge just a light - what more do bikers want!! :)
  17. Hi, does anyone have a very good condition boot cover for sale? To fit S3 with FIA bar. Preferably without hood sticks but willing to consider one with sticks Thanks Nick
  18. Barkalarr was selling one in for sale very recently
  19. Hi Tom, just doing a full swap over on Dominic's golf and my local garage that does all our MOTs and spannering told me to use Brembo pads and discs. For a few quid difference they fit better than the cheaper ones they reckon. Plus discount codes help drop the price quite a bit
  20. Hi Steve, Bracket 1 looks like part of the headrest support if you have a caged X FIA bar or cage. Its missing the piece that has the headrest pad on it. Bracket2 - possibly an internal bracing bar for triangulating more on the passenger side? Not too sure
  21. Hi Ed. If it's still available can I have the crane? Are you in a hurry for collection? Thanks Nick
  22. In fact I'll have it. Can you blatmail your bank details across for me? thanks Nick
  23. Is this the stuff that is in sheet firm to easily wrap around the baffle pipe? I'm interested
  24. Nigel that's the Arch jig number and year or manufacturer The serial number is stamped on the pedal box and if you cared to remove the scuttle, on the wiper motor bracket
