If I remember correctly there should be some milled flats on the tie rods so you can turn them with a spanner rather than using mole grips.

Easiest way is an expensive way! Replace the ECU with a programmable one such as Emerald and then you can just switch off the function (or back on again). It would need a new mapping session to set up the new ECU to your engine configuration though.

Hi Brian I have SBFS latest version shower cap, as new, never used. My S3 was an imperial Superlight with an FIA Roll Bar. I've just upgraded to a CSR which is a S5 larger chassis so the shower cap is surplus to requirements. Comes with a stuff bag. I would want £65 plus postage at cost if your interested. i'm flying out to the Middle East tomorrow so wouldn't be able to post it a until end of the week when back in the UK. kind regards Martyn

I was one of those that had issues with the Brise starter, it triggered the immobiliser every time. Swapped back to a Magnetron and all was well.

It may be you have a different engine type or chassis than me but I had an EU3 engine in a metric chassis and the air box fitted perfectly. It was close to touching the bonnet but I stuck a short length of 3mm neoprene foam on the underside of the bonnet to stop any possible rubbing or vibration. The clutch cable issue was fiddly but not a problem that needed anything doing. The air filter fitted without interference as well.

I've used this advice twice on full engine upgrades and it worked for me HERE

RIF (Richard in France - Sadly no longer with us) used to sell them singly and also some small Carbon Fibre squares slightly bigger than the BigHead bases with holes for the post to go through. You ended up with the bonding material in a sandwich with the posts sticking through. He also produced a guide for the process of fitting these cycle wing Big Heads. I used his guidance notes and used Tigerseal, worked a treat.
