  1. I know there are a few novices competing this weekend so thought I would share a video from May's event on the line not to take at Molehill. I am please to report the damage was minimal, drivers ID protected to ensure no banter in the paddock
  2. ... it was last seen with his hat
  3. Congratulations to everyone who set a PB or class record yesterday in almost perfect conditions. Well done Tony for beating 'Punch' on your last run. Was he still in the paddock to congratulate you on your return
  4. Tony He might change his mind when his tyres overheat due to the sunshine forecast for the weekend
  5. What is the song 'There maybe trouble ahead' See you at Gurston
  6. I was watching the live stream from Harewood when I spotted a class 2 competitor getting in some sneaky practice. Look out for car 32 on the stream here:
  7. Aliwes I expect Rob has not posted it as sold as until the new owner pays and collects the trailer the deal is not completed. He was let down following his first advert and I am sure he will let everyone know when the deal is done. Good luck in your search for a trailer
  8. The product details state Ideal for closed cockpit racing as the visor aperture is wider than other Arai helmets, but can also be retro fitted with a full visor for use in open cockpit racing (sold separately). As a Caterham 7 is open cockpit then a full visor would be required.
  9. The lower diff bolts work loose so a regular spanner check is recommended
  10. I would replace and carry your existing cable as a spare.
  11. A cheaper alternative would be to change to a 3.38 diff. I have a 3.38 CWP for sale (£150) that you can have fitted to your existing diff.
  12. R500 K's should have verniers as standard so cam timing with need to be checked as per DVA
  13. The car is owned by Andy Belcher and IIRC is fitted with a 2L Zetec. Hopefully he remembered the layout as one year lets just say he got a little lost
  14. If you decide on a 3.38 I have a crown wheel and pinion for sale. Send me a message if your interested.
  15. I used this company to recell the original battery on my Sealey impact gun. They replace the cells inside the battery and after 3 years it is still going strong: http://toolbatteriesrepair.co.uk/
  16. Steve I might have what you need and can check on Saturday
  17. Chris I think there is a typo in class 6 or is Gill going to handicap Shaun by removing 403cc from the engine during the driver change
  18. Roger I hope you can fix your engine and just to let you know that Mike's engine is EU3 so might not be a straightforward install as I suspect your car is EU2. Mark
  19. Auto-Teknix did make an airbox for the K series roller barrels unfortunately this is discontinued
  20. Tony Remember that next season you can only use Lithium ion batteries that are listed in the Blue book, so check before you buy
  21. I carry my EZUP on the tyre rack in my trailer as I do not take spare wheels to events. I bought four u-clamps that fit the diameter of the tyre rack tube and used these to attach two pieces of aluminum long enough to bolt across the width of the tyre rack. I then use a ratchet strap to keep the EZUP in place. I know Mike Sankey carries his EZUP on the trailer strapped length ways between the front and rear wheels on the opposite side to the exhaust.
