  1. I also have an EZUP and have drilled an extra hole on each leg so I can lower the height reducing the risk from wind. I generally secure one end to the trailer and the other to either a spares box or spare wheel using ratchet straps.
  2. I would start with a basic check before pulling it apart. Firstly are both the hoses to the heater getting hot when the engine is up to temperature and is the heater valve operating correctly.
  3. Jon I agree on the road the ride will be improved by disconnecting the rear ARB droplink however, on track you need to be careful as this may introduce understeer depending on driving style, front ARB, springs, rake etc. If your looking for alternatives there are a couple listed in this thread. See you at Curborough
  4. The MSA have replied as follows: The locating of the FIA hologram on the left shoulder strap of the harness is part of the FIA homologation requirements for harnesses. Firstly it ensures that the harness straps are installed in the correct way and as tested by the FIA, as many harnesses have small variations in the shape of the buckle latches of the left and right shoulder straps. But secondly it assists the scrutineers greatly when the labels are in a common location on every harness so they do not have to spend time searching for the label.
  5. Like Dan I would like to know the reason why and will drop the MSA an email seeking an explanation. I will let you know their response.
  6. Yes I use Castrol Axle Z Limited Slip 90
  7. I think you really need to establish what BHP/Torque you have by using a rolling road that is known for giving accurate results. Whereabouts in the country are you? I would use either Track n Road in Rainham Essex, Northampton Motorsport in Northampton or Emerald in Thetford.
  8. ... at Gurston yesterday afternoon as a trailer was being towed with a wheel lock attached but then realised a competitor was having a 'senior' moment
  9. Hope that is all it needs and I will cancel the order for the booster seat from Mothercare
  10. Rob No idea but I plan to arrive around lunchtime and in previous years competition cars were already in the paddock by this time. It might be worth an email to check if you want to drop off earlier.
  11. Tony I think you need to employ Michael for his grass cutting/rotovating expertise, maybe he took inspiration from this . I can just see Tam being suitably impressed
  12. Here is the of my best run from Sunday, Anyone else have a video to share?
  13. Phillip you might struggle to keep up with the highly polished blue SV at Curborough ....... but only if Dan is at the wheel

Good luck with the engine build and hope to see you at Curbs
  15. "Memories like elephants" I think that is you as I bent the rims on the Beamer on a pot hole on the return road which we no longer use
  16. Only three photo's you were obviously not trying hard enough
  17. Paul I have just found out that I should be able to unlock the phone FOC via O2. I will check tonight and let you know if successful.
  18. Paul The cost to unlock is £12.99 is this OK with you?
  19. Apple iPhone 6 64GB Silver and currently on O2 but can be unlocked for other networks. The phone is in excellent condition having been kept in an Otter Box Defender protective cover. The phone comes in the original box with earphones (unused and in original packaging), lightening to USB lead and mains plug. £125 including postage.
  20. Dan Try disconnecting the Lamda and see if this helps. Failing that disconnect the water temp sensor for the ECU.
  21. Jon I use 8 ply trailer tyres which are designed for the job and will not fail taking your mud guards with them. I bought mine from GT Towing see here.
  22. ... I see you chose not to say when that might be
