  1. I changed from CR 500 to ZZS very good tyre , yes tight under the front mudguard , but it will fit. They do take a little longer to warm up though. Kingsley
  2. I am wanting to fit a 12v socket into my Carbon Fibre Dash what is the best way to cut the hole ? Could I mark the diameter of the hole and cut it out with a Dremel ?
  3. Hi Ian Tools arrived safe and sound, they look really good ! Many thanks for your trouble to post them out so quickly. Kingsley.
  4. Hi Dave I sent you a message last night ,could you please just let me know what I had asked re colour of the panel. Many thanks. Kingsley
  5. I used this formula for wiring in a power socket, and it can be all done neatly.
  6. Phil You could probably wire directly to the battery with an in line fuse !
  7. Sorry for late response. Yes the tank was fitted originally to the Metro I believe, then Caterham fitted them to the K series engined cars.
  8. Jon here is an photo of my Xflow I used to have, which I did the conversion, unfortunately the nose cone is still in place but it gives you some idea.
  9. I believe SVC supply Caterham, buy direct from SVC at half the price.
  10. ,I had an 89 De Dion model, totally understand what you mean about the seats. I tried the spacers under the rear mountings , worked very well! I came across a pair of the original S type seats for sale, ( Not to be confused with the current “S “ types), and they are the most comfortable seats I have ever come across for the 7 ! If you could find some , I would seriously consider it. Kingsley.
  11. I’m on my second easy in half hood, the first one for my S3, at the time , now for my SV. You cannot totally make them waterproof, because as said , effectively you have made holes in them , with all of the stitching. My first one I used a waterproofing stick, and went over all of the stitching on the underside of the hood, you can normally get these from a camping shop, I have not done the one for the SV as yet. SBFS are a very good company, there products are superb, I’m sure they will help you. Kingsley
  12. My CR500’s cracked badly on the inner walls, they were older tyre’s , but not been used.
  13. Mark I have the same model as you, I had Team Leos Motorsport set all the suspension up, and the car handles really well. You are thinking down the right lines to get it set up properly , I would definitely go to someone who knows Sevens. Kingsley.
  14. Keith I have a 150 SV, and last winter I had a lightened Flywheel fitted. I purchased the Flywheel from TTV Racing at Copdock near Ipswich, the saving was 4.5kg off the standard Flywheel, I had Team Leos fit it for me, it has totally transformed the car without any issues. Go for it. Kingsley
  15. Thank you Stephen, for clearing that up for me. Kingsley.
  16. Hi Steve I have placed three orders, 6 items. I assume that there should be only one postal fee ? would i be right in thinking that? Kingsley
  17. Nigel Take a look on the Puma web site, there are often some ideal shoes on there. Kingsley.
  18. Thanks Jonathan I assume to use the same pressures on the rears even though they are wider ? I will try 18, that’s what I always ran the CR500 , but did not have these rears on.
