Clive I know where you are coming from, I had mine rebuilt by Road and Race about 2 yrs ago, the diff itself was very noisy, add to that the chatter of the LSD when you lift off, was bloody awful! Interestingly when they stripped it , all the main parts other than the lsd were patten parts , this would have fallen into place regarding the supply of Ford diffs, Caterham scoured the country looking for old Sierra diffs to refurbish. Mine was rebuilt in the end using Ford parts , the lsd though is still chattering from the lsd, but main drive is a hundred times better. i have a friend who considering doing away with the lsd, I can’t blame him ! I have for sale an SV Bonnet with slight damage. The bonnet is Black, and is off a 2009 Roadsport. The damage is hardly noticeable, a slight dent In-between the two front louvres and the front left hand louvre is also slightly dented. May well suit a track or Race car Please make me an offer. Jonathan The diff is from the Sierra, it was rebuilt by Phil at road and Race 18 months ago but I have only covered 5000mls since then.

The diff nose oil seal appears to have a weep on it, can the seal be replaced with the diff still on the car by dropping the prop shaft or is it diff out job ? Kingsley.

Miles What you have to do is peel the backing paper off very very carefully , you have to make sure that the letters stay attached to the top paper, if the letters are lifting off the top paper ,then lay it back onto the letters with your thumb nail. Once you have got all the the letters on the top paper then you are ready to stick them into position. The adhesive is on the underside of the letters and each letter is individual , not in a block. David I tried a set of the ZZS tyres on the same rims as mine , which are 195-45-15 They fitted under my front wings fine when I offered the top of the wheel under the mudguard first. Kingsley

Out of interest, I have been in touch with Avon today and they tell me that they are still manufacturing the CR500 in limited numbers. Kingsley.

I have fitted Racetech mirrors with convex glass ,make sure you buy the angled mount for them. I had them on my first Seven and transferred them to my newer one. They work really well with hardly any vibration at all. They fit nicely into the front hole on each door , I then put a black nut and bolt through the other hole to blank it off. Kingsley.

I would agree with Graham, the 150 is a dream to drive, I have just had a lightened Flywheel fitted and that has transformed the car even more. Kingsley.

Craig One thing that can be a bit of nuisance is that the car may suffer from being bogged down / not smooth at low speeds , don’t be too concerned as this is sorted out with a decent remap. I bought one about 18 months ago with that issue but once sorted it is a fantastic car. Go and Enjoy. Kingsley.

Hi Jonathan The model is the Sport Horn ( Not the slimline model) I don’t know the current rating as I do not have the instructions as yet. I don’t have a multimeter , but I do know a man that has ! I did see on my previous thread that DJ had fitted them maybe he could advise what he did. Kingsley.

Just ordered a set of Piaa Sports Horns. Can anyone tell me if I will need a relay or not ? Would not have a clue how to fit one ! Kingsley.
