  1. Quoting myothercarsa2cv: Thanks all! I'll feed this back to Neil and see what his timelines are looking like. Quoting Jerry: How difficult would it be to cut out a small sction of the lip to accommodate a Apollo tank connection to the cam housing ? Probably not much point Jerry, as everyone has put it in slightly different places I bet! 😬 Not hard to drill and file your own slot Edited by - myothercarsa2cv on 31 Jan 2014 17:00:40 Thanks, ,my question was about how difficult to do it yourself, having not worked with the material before, which you have answered

  4. ......and ensure the captive nuts line up exactly with the hole in the scuttle, before you put the knee trims back. If they need to be raised shim the captive nut bracket with washers. While you are at it check the state if the channels the brackets fit into. If necessary clean and repaint or protect with you lube of choice., so initially no not a 5 min job but there after quite possibly. p.s I found it a much more involving experience with a Brooklands, in my my case, however, screen goes back on for winter (ageing rocker) Edited by - Jerry on 19 Jan 2014 09:07:33 Edited by - Jerry on 19 Jan 2014 09:09:36

  8. Quoting Jerry: Just about it try it. Didn't get much out, which either means there was not much in there or it didn't work, suspect the latter Edited by - Jerry on 30 Nov 2013 18:49:15
  9. Use for helmet art practice ?
  10. Looking for a Freestyle ARB or just the mounts & blade - for an SV
  11. I find on my SV that the softest setting is fine for everyday road driving and progressively hardenen it up for track depending on conditions. I am reliably informed by an experienced race technician that ideally to get the best effect, you also need to also change the front - depending on conditions.
  12. Quoting Guy Lowe: Quoting 6speedmanual: Whilst it is very obvious when stationary and fidgeting the wheel, there is no time I have ever neen aesre of it whilst driving. So there it sits doing what it does. P Exactly my thoughts, I don't notice it when driving on road or track, it's fine so why waste money changing it Quoting James.S: The Rapfix one looks superb. That's probably why most people spend all the extra money changing to a Rapfix, because it 'LOOKS GOOD' Guy I will hold my hand up to the latter point Guy.
  13. I use the Gerbings jacket & gloves which work pretty well for me. I do have a heater but it's pretty ineffective unless you are stationery
