  1. If it was mine I would ring Phil at R&R and have a chat. I appreciate that you may be reluctant as it's is a warranty issue, however, a discreet conversation may help resolve the situation a little more swiftly.
  2. How urgently do you need them Chris, as Compomotive CXR's are back in production; limited sizes and colours but I understand production of option will increase over the next few months and are IMHO good value.
  3. That's good news, I am also lusting after a second set of CXR's

  5. Quoting Jerry: In case it is relevant before you proceed - I have used these which worked quite effectively & appear to be similar .

  7. He will be along shortly (Chris Coxall) and it will cheer him up as he hasn't been spotted for a while
  8. Survey completed and am interested subject to it being subtle & perhaps the option of a green dial.

    SV Armrests

    Getting soft Ade ? 😬
  11. One of our ReHaB fellas has just had a very troublesome time with another well known K series engine builder - not mentioned on this thread yet - If it was me I would wait for Dave Andrews - I cannnot fault any of the work he has undertaken on my car - in many ways the waiting time tells it's own positive story
  12. I beleive I have a spare one Steve but am away on hols from tomorrow until 21st. Let me know if you are not sorted by then.
  13. Could have been me on my way to PGM, but I don't know where Turners Hill is
  14. Save yourself some time & effort and take it to Andy at PGM
  15. Quoting zetec: The amount of times I've driven that road & no one has seen me Your invisible unless you have TB's Craig
  16. If you want the pipe lagging to last a little longer, cover it with a length of plastic corrugated hose split lengthwise - the sort used for water features - most garden centres sell it.
  17. You can use a very thin washer, which will distort and fill the countersunk void under the nut if you think it is necessary but I found that the dome nuts were quite an acceptable fit. You can grind them a little to achieve a closer fit but I don't believe you will find it necessary. The amount of air pressure on the Brooklands Screens is not great; so as long as it is snug, it will be o.k.
  18. If it's the Brooklands Strap supplied by Arch you can drill and counter sink holes under the strap - bolts facing up thro' strap & brooklands brackets (M4 I believe) and finish off with stainless dome head nuts. Worked fine on mine and a few other's I am aware of.
  19. On trailer A34 North bound approaching Abingdon turn, approx 10.00 - I was in Blue BMW 320D CC.

Oxted Trimming will sell you a bare seat base & as suggested above you can make a new seat squab yourself -you can obtain the matertials here
  21. They centre rotating bit is fairly easy to remove by "gently" squashing the prongs together a little and then re-open them when you put it back.
  22. I think it might be MKW10016 as this one here Edited by - Jerry on 8 Mar 2014 13:03:38 Edited by - Jerry on 8 Mar 2014 13:04:28
