  1. For a less expensive alternative to the CR500 I would also recommend Yoko A021s. I find mine in 14" perfect for road use and touring with plenty of grip wet or dry and so far reasonable wear. Got them from Adam's and Paige in High Wycombe, handy if you don't have a friendly local fitter or can't meet Polley at an event. Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. 2. Lovely 2 Bed, Baiter Park, Poole - Reserve now for November Rare opportunity to rent a lovely 2 bed flat in Baiter Park, Poole. This harbourside park is perfectly located for the Quay, town centre shops, supermarkets, bus station, train station and delightful walks to Whitecliff, Lilliput, Evening Hill and Sandbanks. This ground floor flat is arranged like a 1 story house with its own outside front door, open plan thru kitchen/living/dining area, front and rear garden (rear garden is shared with 3 other flats) and allocated parking space. Their is a good allocation of unrestricted guest parking too. Sadly our tennants are emigrating to Oz in November hence the availability. Rent to be finalised on a furnished or unfurnished basis at c.£700 pcm. Please post here or blatmail me for further details or to arrange viewing.
  3. With a little help from a few fellow Seveners I would expect to fit a Megajolt setup for £200-250 and this includes using many of the bits that make life easier such as the genuine Weber Throttle Position Sensor. Best to start collecting the bits and then collar whatever help you're left needing... I can vouch for it being very good but you will lose most of the pops and bangs ☹️ 😬 Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  4. I got a new breather for mine from a Ford garage. I think it was either a Capri LSD or XR4i part. Phil should have some too...
  5. If this is wired up and ready to go and relatively easy to fit I'll take one please! Thanks, Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  6. Recently had a good experience of Ford in Buckingham and Aylesbury. The Buckingham dealer established which crank sensor I wanted purely from the number stamped on the broken one, told me he didn't have any but also told me that Aylesbury did and gave me the Ford internal refence number Aylesbury Ford let me pay for it over the phone and collect from their sales reception after parts had closed So they're not all bad - I've not got a clue which engine nevermind which car the crank sensor came from 😬
  7. Would be very interested in the adjustable platforms if someone was willing to split? 😬 Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  8. Green I believe around 8pm this evening 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  9. You flashed me and I waved I was headed towards Bournemouth coming away from cars on the Quay... 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !

  11. Hope you've sorted it Phil. Which MOT station are you using? Magna Autocare in Canford Business Park are seven friendly and very sensible... Good luck! Jon
  12. Waved this morning in my Seven as we passed close to the A35 junction in Hurn / Parley. Cool registration 😬 Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  13. Is the balance screw flat and immediately behind the idle adjustment screw? Has anyone got a labelled photo? (the diagrams I've seen never seem to have the linkage, only the individual carb adjustments). Many thanks! Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. 14. I've upgraded to a 40D so my Canon Digital Rebel (US version of the 300D) is for sale on ebay. Good condition and perfect working order. Auction ends Sunday evening.... Ebay Link Jon Edited by - new cat on 30 May 2008 14:11:02
  15. One of the nuts that holds on the K&N air filters onto the Webers on my car has gone missing. Any ideas as to where is the best / most cost effective place to get a replacement? Yes, I know its a numpty question! 😬 Jon
  16. My Dad has bought one of those modern sea-kayaks, but also bought a paddle only suitable for a right-hander. Would be nice to be able to use it, but need a flat paddle or one that can easily be used by a leftie... WHY? Jon
  17. Thanks Roger, sounds like I better loosen it off a bit and carry an appropriate spanner! Jon
  18. I've had an issue with my fan belt working itself loose (I think because the spindle in the alternator has worked itself into an oval rather than circular rotation...) Last time I tightened it I did it up extra tight and after quite a few trips it has not worked loose. However, at the start of every journey the Red alternator warning light on the dash stays illuminated for a few miles before going off. The battery is keeping good charge so it does seem to be working fine. I realise ultimately I need to get my alternator sorted out but for the time being am I likely to be damaging anything? Thanks, Jon
  19. Not seen you around before 😬 Shame I've not brought mine in today... Jon
  20. Saw you in Ally seven with yellow wings and nose in my seven on the way to work this moring and waved. Jon 1994 1.7 Supersprint De-dion X-Flow. Yellow with black cycle wings - Now with Megajolt !
  21. Just after 7pm this evening. First I saw a maroon coloured car which I think was wearing Prisoners. Next up an 06 plate car in metallic blue.... Perfect day, perfect location 😬
