However, if you're serious, I may be able to bring it up to Sutton, SW London.
  2. I have another one, in black I believe. Very good condition with bag. Happy to do for the same price as above. Jon
  3. My father in law's car, perfect cheap petrol auto. £1500 https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/13972755
  4. Pics now available via eBay listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294960364594?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3N5v0WkVTJ6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=3N5v0WkVTJ6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. Set of 5 KN Jupiter wheels in 6 X 13 Ford De Dion fitment. They are shod with 4 X CR500 (175/55/13) and one spare with a 185/60/13 Yokohama A021 in 185/60/13 - old and best replaced. The wheels are in usable condition but would benefit from a refurb if you wanted them to be in show condition. I believe these wheels were standard fit on BDR and Supersprint Caterhams in the mid to late 1980s. i will try to load pics shortly, in the meantime they are available on request. £250 collected from Wimborne, Dorset or Sutton, London.
  6. Thanks Salty. Thinking I probably need to bide my time unless something comes up privately. The difference between new prices and up to 4 year old cars is minimal in retail but order books for many cars are simply closed... Certainly considering things like Kia Sportage...
  7. This is a family bus for my wife to replace her 11 year old, 130k mile very well used Mazda 6! Not ruling anything out but looking to pay a fair price of not more than £20k ideally. My wife has zero interest in cars and actually prefers something that is not very valuable/worried about. It is nice that its not a total shed when I do drive it though!
  8. Thanks Nic, sounds amazing but my wife isn't the slightest bit into cars so we're looking for something more modest.
  9. Looking for something to replace my wife's Mazda 6 estate in coming months. Nothing too fancy but with reasonable boot space , modest miles, approx up to 5 years old. Not a diesel. If you could let me know if your PCP is going back or you may have something suitable, that would be great. Thanks! Jon
  10. Thanks Nick (is it Nick?!), sold it to WBAC this morning. Ultimately they were willing to pay more than the supplying dealer or Motorway.
  11. Going to WBAC tomorrow who on paper are offering £21,000. Any interest on here at around that figure? Purchased as approved used from BMW in 2019, one previous owner and on a BMW service pack ever since, its a very clean car.
  12. Just in case you're looking to sell one, its coming to the end of a PCP etc, please message me with what you have. Many thanks, Jon

  14. Considering selling my 5 series - advertising here first: January 2018 '67 plate BMW 530D SE Saloon (261 bhp, 457 ft lb, 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds) - 45mpg ZF 8 speed automatic transmission with paddles Mediterranean blue metallic (mid/dark blue - very pretty) with black leather heated sports seats Adaptive LED headlights (very effective and an expensive option) Upgraded 18" alloys with runflat tyres. Usual comforts, wireless phone charging, massive screen, climate, cruise etc. FBMWSH, 1 previous owner (I've owned the car since early 2019) 49,411 miles £22,000 with the SE suspension and sensible sized wheels it covers the ground beautifully (faster point to point than an M-Sport IMHO) but still with the hugging sports seats. Contact me for photos etc.
  15. The original 1600cc crossflow exhaust system from a 1995 Caterham Scholarship Seven. The system is in very good condition having been fitted only for the car's first 8000 miles and dry stored for many years. It is the 4 into 2 into 1 setup that exited out the rear of the car (which I think might still be a legal requirement in some countries?) It is stainless steel and even still has the heat guard. The system is located in Wimborne, Dorset and will require collection. I am advertising on behalf of the owner who parted with his seven quite a few years ago. Offers please.
  16. I ran an early (1998) 996 3.4 Carrera for a couple of years and also have to say that a previous 987 Cayman I'd owned was much better to drive!
  17. Thanks guys, I could also only find the R888R now in the medium compound and it was kind of one of the things that put me off. I've rolled the dice now and will try the Yokohama A052 but may well try the Toyos for my next set.
  18. Thanks Ankers, I've heard quite a lot about these but a picture would paint a thousand words! Could you possibly share one please?
  19. Thanks Tom, is it any good? Do you use 2 inlets? My bulkhead is already quite busy, so need to measure up carefully and was looking at smaller ones and narrower ones without the inspection tube.
  20. My crossflow currently has the rather crude oil breather arrangement, feeding only from the crankcase breather hose into an open topped washer bottle on the bulkhead. I'm thinking to add a further breather from the oil filler cap (an Austin Maestro part I believe!) My question was whether anyone had tried any of these cheap aluminum catch tanks from eBay? I'm also wondering whether it seems feasible to use both ports as inlets? Like this... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123876306422 would be nice to capture the vapours more effectively so they don't float into the cabin.
  21. Do you know which compound you've got p.mole?
  22. Thanks Trunnie, I expect you can push them very hard as you get more used to them. Hopefully mine will arrive soon. I suspect you had a later tyre than the ZV1 as that's ancient (on such a new car as yours) - Avon are now on the ZV7 I believe.
  23. I fitted a repackable Techcraft exhaust to mine and when freshly packed think I got down to about 98dba static at 4500 revs from 105dba previously! Any repackable exhaust (the largest you can get away with without ground clearance issues) should help a lot, you might need to get the inlet changed if sourced secondhand.
