Ric I seem to recall you not being able to keep up (big understatement!) with my tin top when you were in your hot hatch 😳 So I doubt you would stand a chance in the 7! I have been taking the 7 apart this christmas for various mods. When I removed the driveshafts/hubs/disks etc it occured to me that it is VERY heavy. Any ideas how to make it lighter? James Su77on Se7ens

Have you got a rough idea how much lighter a heavily drilled standard type disk would weigh? Not too worried about the safety/braking effiency aspect it just got me thinking James Su77on Se7ens

For track use etc I would recommend BCPR7ES as a minimum. Better still BCR8ES. Personally I would worry about running anything hotter than this James Su77on Se7ens

Double check the rest of the braking system to be certain. It sounds like a master cyl fault. Its quite common for them to behave like this on all sorts of cars. James Su77on Se7ens
