I'd like 1st option on the springs please, but I'm not sure whether they are on adjustable shock as i'm on my phone right now. Could you confirm please?
Regards, Rob.
Peter,
I partly agree with you (although I'm surprised if it weighs more than the standard cap). However, my reason for wanting to change is because the body paint around the existing fuel cap is reacting quite badly with the petrol and I don't now how else to prevent the damage from spreading.
I've currently got the standard Rover fuel filler cap and I want to fit an Aero cap.
I've obviously got a filler neck already, but is it compatible with the Aero cap (HERE) or do I need to buy the whole kit (HERE) with the neck included?
I would say it probably was about 70DegC, certainly not much more. I never realised diffs got that hot, hence my panic. Thanks for your reassurance, I'll stop worrying. 😬
It's not especially noisy, It doesn't wine, more of a hiss. But after a 20 mile journey it is hot to the touch.
This isn't normal, is it?
I know there are some adjustments that can be made. Is this likely to correct the problem?
Something doesn't ring true.
Caterham 5 speed box? Caterham never made one did they?
Brand new wheels? What else would it have if It's a brand new car?
I have the same problem, but I can't find anything stamped on the end of the shafts either. The ends are machined and there is nothing stamped. The only numbers I can find are these stamped around the shaft about two thirds the way along:
LGC 206260V 505L
and on the other:
LGC 206240N L 405
They were sold to me as K series SS cams.
Please can we have a section devoted to arranging Blats? 😶🌫️
Edited to correct the spelling mistakes I made; VERY KINDLY pointed out by Powdwer Mokney. 😬

Quoting Paul White: Brief summary below: -
I have an R400 and could possibly be described as a bit of a yob (so far so good) but have recently transferred "K80 ROM" to it from my old Caterham - hence "hmmm..."
Would have been interested otherwise
Y'could sell K80 ROM to me for £6 and then get the YOB No. AND make yourself 48p profit
I need an EU3 ECU to take the connector off.
It doesn't have to work, in fact I'd prefer it if it didn't, then I wouldn't feel bad about chopping the connector out.
I want the connector to build an EU3 to Emerald adapter.
I've just been looking at the price of catalytic converters for my Merc 190E 2.0.
Cats Direct offer these two choices for my car:
Ceramic catalytic converter £89.14 + vat
Metal catalytic converter £242.39 + vat
Do they do the same job?
If they do, why would anyone go for metal?
What's the catch?
Rullingen.
