I have an EU3 2007 Roadsport and I want to fit an Emerald K3 with an EU2 style connector. I am planning on making an adaptor to go between the two. I'm in need of two items. 1.A connector to fit on to an EU2 Rover ECU. Maybe cut from an old Rover wiring loom with 6” or more of wire attached. 2.An EU3 ECU in any condition (preferably broken, I don't like wasting things) but with a good connector. I plan to cut the connector from it and graft on the EU2 connector to make the adaptor. Rob.

I've just received my Emerald through the post and unpacked it. It was sold to me as a K3 by a blatchatter, however, it is badged as a M3DK, serial number 41514. Have I been stupid again, I thought this model was the predecessor to the K3. I'm getting that sinking feeling.

Has anyone got the details of the necessary modification please? Perhaps I can make a short adapter loom, so I can go back to MEMS if it doesn't work out, or is it more complicated than that? I'm going to be faced with this problem when my K3 arrives this week. I've got a 2007 Roadsport 1.6, currently standard 115 BHP. Any advice from those who've done it would be usefull.

Does anyone know why Dave Andrews charges more to fit an Emerald to an EU3? Are there complications with the EU3 engine? Rob.

Looks like i'd be safer to wait for an EU3 ECU or better still, an Emerald.

Is there any difference between an EU2 SS ECU for a 1800 and an EU3 SS ECU for a 1600?

Please does anyone have a pair of Piper Vernier pulleys for a K series Rover engine? I'm upgrading a Roadsport to a Supersport. I could also do with a Supersport ECU, or better still an Emerald K3.

I need some cheap steel wheels that I can use on my 2007 k-series for track day use. I was hoping to get some from the scrappies. Can anyone suggest what car I should remove them from? Cheers, Rob.

Wife's looking for a TT. She has £6K to spend on the right motor but it has to meet the following criteria: Excellent condition, Full service history with cam belt up to date, Preferably standard wheels, 1.8 engine, 180BHP or 225BHP, Not much more than 75,000 miles. Also, not to far from Worcestershire, and blue would be nice, but other colours would be considered. Not too fussy then 😬 Thanks, Rob.

It looks from the pictures as if two pipes would exit the side of the engine bay, but you say it can be fitted with no extra holes. Have I misunderstood? What's your location? Rob.
