  1. There are two types of hood, a hood that will suit 'flat doors' and a hood that will suit 'doors with elbow room'. IIRC, the difference in the hoods is the roof line along the sides where the roof meets the top of the doors.
  2. So the lads running the Uniroyal Rain Experts over the past few months, what are they like?
  3. About 11:30 hrs (ish) today dark grey with orange stripe. I was one of the many cyclists on the #wiganbikeride #joiningjack charity bike ride.
  4. You may get away with a strip down, clean, new seals and rebuild. Seals are available from Redline for a few quid.
  5. John, Two Gates is the make/manufacturer. The reason I'm asking is because I'm currently on Twogates and the pattern/appearance would match. If they were Two Gates you wouldn't miss the wording in the inside of the rim. Thanks
  6. They don't have 'Two Gates' stamped on the inside of the wheel do they?
  7. What size and make are they John.

    7" Rims...

With a 7" wide rim you could go for a wider section tyre with a smaller profile that would still give you ground clearance, but.......would 7" fit the fronts? Also, a 185 section tyre on a 7" wide rim seems a little narrow/wide??? If you do go for 185/70x13 I would be interested to know your choice.
  9. I've replaced the pistons seals and dust covers on my standard front brake calipers, one possible issue....... The dust cover is fitted to the piston and held in place around the caliper body with a circular piece of wire. Where each end of the wire 'meets', there's a gap of about 5mm and here the dust cover 'kinks' slightly (ie leaves a bit of a gap between the cover and body). No matter what I do I can't eliminate this 'kink'. Have I missed something or is this the norm?
  10. I'm with Ralph here, wanting to stay with the 70 profile. Other threads give the Uniroyal Rain Expert 3 a good review.
  11. I know the clue is in the title but how are the Uniroyal Rain Experts in the dry?
  12. I'll take it please. Let me know the postage cost and method of payment, PayPal, Cheque ?
  13. I encountered the same problem a while back. During a service I replaced the plugs for new ones and had the same problem of a misfire after about 15/20 minutes. I replaced the 4 plugs and all was ok. You have tried the old coil, have you tried the old plugs? Just a thought
  14. Webers - totally agree, no problems once set up correctly.
  15. Colin, be wary, as a XFlow driver there may be others reading this. 255 miles, I can only dream I base my consumption on petrol stations per trip
  16. Trigger if Frank doesn't want the switches I'll take them please.
  17. Had a similar problem and it turned out to be the plugs, and like yourself they were pretty new, 12 months old. For a few quid or if you have some old ones in the garage might be worth changing them and trying it.
  18. Banks really along the A565 away from Southport.
  19. Yellow, on the A82 north of Fort William. Blue, again on the A82 by the side of Loch Lomond.
  20. From my local motor factor 'shop' I've always been offered two alternatives and gone for the dearer option; APEC always found their products to be OK. Tom.......been to Elgol today, stunning views but the weather!!!
  21. Hmm.......the oil filter I fit on mine is a Fram PH5713
