Hi Guys, Advice appreciated, please refer to pictures here Had to get a new tank, old one leaking where it rests on the supports. Firstly I noticed the new one doesn't have the top-of-tank vent, so where do I put this end of the small hose from the filler neck? Secondly, there is a small threaded neck from the corner of the tank; purpose? Do I need to blank this off in some way? Thirdly, and most importantly, the new tanks two main necks are at least half an inch nearer the back edge than on the old one and they are taller, so I cannot get the rubber hoses to connect tank and neck. Have CC sent the wrong tank, or am I going to have to resort to bodgery? Thanks, Jerry

If you do have to change battery again, get it moved to the bulkhead above the passenger's feet. A friend with a crossflow had this done many years ago. 686 blats 2000-2009 9 so far this year

The 48 is grippier, but comes with only 5mm tread as new, so shorter life.

The 195/60R14 doesn't have the depth of sidewall of your existing 205/60R13,and you aren't happy with that for long distance. Maybe you should get another set of 13" wheels instead of the 14", and fit 185/70R13 Yoko A021 as previously suggested by Nick. So, just to clarify, you're happy with the comfort of the 205/60R13, and it's the M+S tyres on 14" that you are thinking need more comfort? I think you'll find that M+S tyres in general are not going to be very comfortable regardless of a bit more sidewall. How much mud and snow are you driving in anyway?! Why not use the 13" set you already have for your holiday?

Tyre sizes are only nominal so you're never sure until fitted. Theoretically, it'l be 5mm closer to the stays and 6mm closer to the inside of the wheelarch. 633 blats 2000-2008 30 so far this year
