  1. Firefox/Chrome/IE/Opera/Maxthon all tried.
  2. Having no problem accessing any other sites, or indeed, other pages on the 7 website. Still 502 from Edit Profile.
  3. ...because the page won't open. Keep getting 'Service Unavailable' or '502 Timeout'. Tried four browsers, no difference. Trying since yesterday.
  4. You must drive as if every other road user is trying to kill you because if you are involved in any sort of collision, you will come off worst. Regardless of extra bars, etc.
  5. Camskill have Toyo R888 in 205/60x13, you lose less than a millimetre in ride height.
  6. Further to the heater comments above, if you ensure the heater valve is fully closed you can use the heater fan to blow ambient temperature air into the footwells. I always do this on really hot days, and I don't have a massive heat soak problem in the first place.
  7. >>If the strengthening bar is the ali strip along the front edge Yes, that is what I meant. The holes for the rear tubes are about 55mm by 45mm, for the fronts about 40mm.
  8. It looks standard depth to me. Don't know how I could tell which 'fatter' rollbar it fitted, just definitely not the old 1994 pattern standard one. https://www.flickr.com/photos/41857625@N03/24469918836/in/dateposted-public/
  9. I have a 1994 1400SS. When I bought it in 1999, it came with a boot cover and tonneau to fit an FIA type rollbar, the holes in the boot cover are too big for my standard 1994 era rollbar. I bought a new boot cover to suit. Now I want to sell the 'FIA' type cover but am not quite sure how to describe it. For instance it doesn't have the 'strengthening' bar along the front edge that my other one does. A friend with a 1995 Crossflow also has a cover with no strengthening bar, but his fits a standard rollbar. Does anyone know the history of boot cover fitment?
  10. Yeah, Millwood's was where the Devon guy sold it, although he remembers it as eight years ago, so maybe another owner between him and you.
  11. No, i think he sold it to a dealer several years ago.
  12. R2 BOY has travelled a long way, used to belong to a Devon member.
  13. I never like ads full of exclamation marks. Maybe one of the Somerset area knows the car?
  14. Thanks guys. This is turning into a job for someone else.
  15. The lower spring seat does not fit over the top or bottom loops. Have tried the mole grips, the rod is too hard and smooth for them to grip.
  16. Mankee: I'll try that but not sure moles will grip hard enough. Mark: Already done that. As I said, I need to fit a new lower spring seat.
  17. Thanks for your advice guys. Mark: Need to fit a new lower spring seat. Tazio: Standard CC Bilsteins (http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=1822) no nut.
  18. How do I clamp the damper piston rod to stop it turning while I undo the top loop mount?
  19. Blue, cycle wings, possibly RTT in reg, leaving Newfoundland Way car park. Spotted by wife.
  20. On my 1994 with just the alloy panel secured, they are M6x12mm
  21. Many thanks to Mankee for the heads-up and LesG for the dampers.
  22. If it would fit, get one from an early K like mine, still on original sender from 1994. In my experience, every time CC change supplier, the part is cheaper (to them!) and lower quality.
  23. Hi Richard, I did ask CC but got an unexpected and more expensive than necessary answer, so thought I'd see what BC had to say.
