  1. Is there a difference in the likelyhood of grounding the sump between crossflow/Vauxhall engined cars and those fitted with the lighter K-series?
  2. Caterham 7 1700 Supersprint 1995 Red/ali, leather seats, Motolita, heater, Superlites, Vecta, tonneau, 4 speed, 11,000 miles, always garaged, no track days. £11,500 Brian Robinson 01626 879651 (S.Devon)
  3. Believe they are Ford probably Sierra.
  4. It's not the size of the wheel that matters,it's the overall diameter of the wheel/tyre combo. 13" wheels with 185/70 tyres have same as 16" wheels with 205/45.
  5. Tim Seipel wrote:You can use any unleaded fuel in the the rage 95, 97 or the old 98 RON with any of the standard or supersport K engines. Does this apply to 1.4 Supersport and early 1.6 Supersports which were the only K engines to be specified for 98 octane fuel in Caterham brochures, etc.?

Keith, Demon Tweeks, although I imagine any decent car place could order from Millers. DT price:£2.97+VAT+postage for 250ml which treats 50 litres to give a 1.9 octane boost so you might be OK at 'half-dosage' although I'm not sure if the dosage requirement is 'linear'. Jerry Parker.

For Keith: Yes,you're not the only one to notice the drop in SUL octane, the answer for me is Millers Octane-Plus C, which is safe for cats and gives a 1.9 octane boost. Jerry Parker

Miller's VSP Plus (available from Demon Tweeks).Endorsed by FBHVC (only four products passed their tests) and gives a 2 octane boost so ideal to add to 95 octane unleaded to give protection and correct octane. Jerry Parker
