  1. Had to soften my pipe under boiling water from the kettle as the space was so tight it just caused pipe to crease if cold
  2. Ive just been through this process for the first time and had the same problems as you re the cut down Allen key with angles been slightly wrong and not been able to locate it in the plug. In the end the answer was to cut a 15mm length off a 10 mm allen key (sounds short but all that would fit on my metric chassis). Then gently round of one end with the dremill and soften the ridges on the Allen key a little so that it would insert at a slight angle. Then use an open ended spanner. Oil extraction and refill was using a syringe oil thing that screwfix sell which worked well for both. Mark
  3. Gently tapping with a rubber mallet somewhere robust that wont deform on the subframe did the trick for me after soaking, patient and gentle though.
  4. I ended up fitting one of these because it felt the closest match aesthetically to the original if that kind of thing bothers you. I did however decide to buy a separate braided hose although the one supplied worked fine and was a hell of a lot easier to thread than the braided one. 5. I tried 280 I'm my S3 with lowered floors and S Type seats. Felt good but I did find it pushed my elbows over to passenger side of transmission tunnel and felt cramped with doors on. I'm only 1.70 m tall.I ended up going back to 160. thanks Mark
  6. I purchased all of these new to do this conversion but decided to go down a different route so these should be all of the bits needed for the conversion, you'll just need to take your old thermostat out, cut out the centre bit with a Dremmel and refit the base and rubber seal so the old thermostat housing seals. Included is 1 x PRT thermostat 82c light spring, grey,1 x 1m of Samco silicone hose, 1 x alloy T piece, 6 x stainless steel hose clips. All unused but I have marked up the exits on the PRT with a marker pen. Now moved on to Ebay
  7. Genuine Caterham carbon wing protectors S3. These are the ones where near side is shorter than offside. Caterham have them listed at £88 each new, they are used but in good condition, bought in error. Now moved to ebay

  9. If anyone has a nearside Left hand Genuine Caterham carbon fibre wing protector please let me know. It's the one with the 44.9 mm longest edge not the slightly shorter one. would consider a pair alternatively Thanks Mark
  10. Thanks both for you valued input. Just a quick question on the 500110, on the diagram it looks to have an input of 35mm and two outputs of 35mm and 33mm. Doing online searches, top hose looks to be 32mm so my questions are please- 1) Im guessing the main flow goes through the 35mm outlets if you break into the top hose and therefore can you just stretch a fit over the 35mm inlet/outlet or are converters needed? 2) Where does the 33mm offshoot then break in to please? Many thanks as always. Mark
  11. If anyone has the Seven and Classics kit or QED kit that they didn't get around to fitting please drop me a pm. thanks Mark
  12. I've just got one of these which I haven't fit yet but hope to over the next week or two. I chose it largely because it was the closest I could get to a gauge that looked in keeping with those already in. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284255020277?hash=item422eeb64f5:g:e8kAAOSwtVViPGrR&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAsAnhqoQtq77fF0XyUs2O2U48N77%2BjrAdQFrl%2Faixy0R4q1utZ74i90hN9%2BBMaMxKWPs8MH5k%2Fe5Q3w%2F9%2Fqp75NIcqSXqW56%2FSCJcedfo2BTXnsLdxXtUcyp%2BBcxXcu28aZa6rB6WruRpewyRGFEgIukx07RZY0D%2B2%2FoBrZP%2B7jiNhmfnLFfJxiscXzwQB6M7Golfy46Cm5%2BQYU%2FQY91Vmu9UmP25WPMi3s%2BXGXKOpc%2FV%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR9CDt-2rYQ I think Ill just then need one of these to supplement it for a direct fit on my K series.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/352779500497?fits=Car+Make%3ARover&epid=1933315922&hash=item52234bfbd1:g:1w0AAOSwGDJeUlRS&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4A57NzyLpYFwSMRn3ggyq5EaQPH%2FMnLDPRaBl5IJ8Yo1WbXqfs8jNNnUdjuPwroMMyfI%2BcVr%2BYq69MRhYgM5ll1NL9eT%2FkgCATyDE6rEY7s1ko41FXsauu05zt7tdqVCrgkCE1zxB8xHFLkcCTZOmZGYTEHy1irOZLzCyd6JBYmkn4MS4LJPeCm%2BzQ9vc62zodwWgMWSSuFylgXtylAbV%2FMuevpCQpsFs2voGLY4rm3b6wZLfGvlFRaIuEzx%2FncAbbmMtCRBW1Qmf6Zgm0f0T42pMhMxoMFnDzvnMKw9Yb7%2B%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-aI3O2rYQ Or one of these if I want to replicate the Demon Tweeks kit with a take off for a warning light. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264183320626?hash=item3d828d9032:g:ZuIAAOSwDThePC3w&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4OgkEd5BFLTWeh40aJV1rfUPn8OD%2Bg%2BTbMfT%2FCG06zMDHHqTxjExCmYdv6yAUb2%2BuzSp2F2qR%2BkzT7RqzFMV5VmcnIq9YQXa7A1i2Fr2ma77LcJd7Q3IfIiEKBGaNW7%2FPxmYUXccOPiQYSwEoK%2FAP7FRGz2YQivJb9wpmXpjZtEm7Q%2FTUFVpF5jEVwYlpTZWh1AwnySoIC5gwxxqZ1yqg3M4oCVnqGO%2BNJYFbm8V0ypPC%2FxQUvx%2F5i4Edlx8FPDn8i0Oa6uqsKiIxvI5%2BOIIgc4qDhkAmM2oWGTyDzwRpJBP%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4So-u2rYQ
