  1. Thanks good advice, I think that's where I had got to in my head, I don't want to let aesthetics spoil a lovely nimble car so Ill stick with 6 inch wheels and sell the staggered set. Mark
  2. I've just finished refurbing a staggered set of 8 KN 8 spokes in gloss black ready to fit. Id planned to fit some 205 avon CR28s rears as even with 205s my car will be massively over rubbered as a Roadsport 120 ex academy car. Many tyre checkers seem to indicate 205 is too narrow for an 8 inch rim and CR28s are a narrower style tyre also but I just wondered whether others run 205 and are there any issues. I'm not that fussed about form over function so wouldn't want to go any bigger unnecessarily so might just stick with my 6 inch wheels rather than lug around big heavy 8 inch wheels and super wide tyres just for appearance and neither would I want to compromise safety running the wrong tyres. Many thanks
  3. Thanks all for you supportive comments. It’s had a reprieve, we went to the camper van and motorhome show in Harrogate yesterday and it reminded us how good ours is was compared to others and how many compromises we would need to make in a VW T6. thanks again Mark
  4. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be getting our van's first MOT and a new habitation certificate before putting it up for sale on autotrader. Just mentioning on here in case anyone is looking for one as I’d rather it go to someone who would appreciate it. It’s a 2021 Rollerteam 590 T Line with 7600 miles on the clock. It’s a 2.3 diesel manual, the 140 bhp version and EU6 We have owned it from new and it’s been our pride and joy, it’s literally only done 2 x 2 weeks holiday,2 x 1 week holiday and a handful of weekends, so like new. I always wanted one of the more sporting looking vans, as far as you can with a motorhome and it’s much admired. It’s a fraction under 6 meters so you can get most places and on a good number of car parks if they don’t have a height barrier and you can find the end of a row. I’ll be listing for a fixed price of £55,000 no offers, list price is now £71,000. There are a couple for sale around this level which are the same year but they are ex hire vans with 30k miles on so ours is a great buy for anyone looking for one. Reason for sale is that we think we would get more use out of a VW camper which fits on the drive at home and we can just do spur of the moment weekends. Let me know if you have any questions.
  5. This is a beautiful jacket that Ive owned for a while but as I rarely taken the 7 out in winter it just doesn't get used but when I do you can't beat the high collar for draught protection.Flying jackets and Caterhams seem to be a thing of the past now but you can't beat them for cold children or partners as they tolerate your hobby!!!!!!! Its made by the Cockpit Clothing Company Southampton, is numbered with a plaque as number 6 and is in very high quality brown leather with green leather collar and green leather 7 badges. Quality wise it is right up there with Irvins etc and is in first class condition with no unpleasant odours, still smells new. It's a size 38 chest but as there isn't much give in these don't be tempted to go smaller than you would normally. I'd say its a big small or a small medium if that makes sense. 250 collected Colne Lancashire or I'd guess I can post for 10 to UK lowland mainland. Thanks Mark
  6. Caterham ones run out now but still have x power ones left. All those who have contacted me to date have what they wanted. Thanks Mark
  7. I still have a few of these if anyone is interested. Mark
  8. A single Caterham harness in excellent condition. I bought it for trackday use from a club member but never fitted it. It’s out of date for competition use but should be perfectly useable for road or trackday at your discretion. It has 6 mounting points and 5 buckles going into the centre button so I’m never quite sure whether that’s classed as a 5 or 6 point. Crutch strap is Prima and main harness Luke £75 plus postage to UK mainland or collect Colne, Lancashire Many thanks Mark
  9. Thanks Andrew, send me your personal email address on the private message and Ill send them through for you. Mark
  10. Thanks Tim, to be fair to 7CatAgric as he asked first subject to fitting ill wait until he responds but you have 2nd dibs. Mark
  11. Hello, they are Ford fit dedion car. Please let me know if that works for you and if so I’ll pm you my contact details and we can work out pick up etc. Many thanks Mark
  12. Set of 4, first class condition front and back, no centres sorry. Tyres are good Yoko A539s on a 2019 date code. Collection only Colne Lancs or I work near Wetherby one day a week so could perhaps do something there if it works. £550 Thanks Mark
  13. Leaving aside the whole debate around lack of E marking and exceptions etc has anyone any experience of using the CR28 as a touring tyre. Instinctively it’s soft rubber and good water clearing capabilities suggest it should be in our climate. thanks Mark
  14. Is anyone on here running 205/60/13 Avon Cr28s on Caterham 8 inch rims please. Normally most size checker websites suggest 205s are just about OK on 8 inch rims but the Avon website say 6 to 6.5in rims for 205/60/13 CR28s and I wonder if these are different because of their slightly more “classic” shape? Many thanks Mark
  15. Yes, can't see any, it's weird they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth from UK sources
  16. These seem to be unavailable at present on Amazon therefore if anyone has a set they haven't got around to fitting and want to sell please drop me a line. thanks Mark
  17. NOW SOLDI have a set of these Im unlikely to fit if anyone is still looking for a set.PM me if interested, NOW SOLD
  18. Now that Ive finished my black pack project I have an immaculate anodised silver heated screen, surround, stanchions, screws, seal and mirror for sale. It is pretty much unmarked and doesn't look to have seen much action. There is a very feint scuff on one stanchion where the FIA kill switch cover sat (photographed). Collection from Colne Lancashire or I work near Wetherby so can be collected there alternatively. I don't want to risk posting. £350 Many thanks Mark
  19. SOLD For sale in a black windscreen surround and stanchions. The screen is broken so could be used as a template to get one cut or ideal if you are going down the black pack route and swapping your screen. I bought this to black pack my car but its no longer needed now. Stanchions are anodised but I cant honestly tell whether the frame is anodised or has been painted. If painted its been done well but as I bought it secondhand I cant say definitively. One stanchions has a slight drill hole pictured but will touch up easily.£130 posted to UK lowlands or can be collected Colne, Lancs
