  3. I have an unused 'injection' alloy tank. Never had fuel in it. Has a puncture in the bottom, roughly jack shaped Car fell onto a jack while I was building it last year. The fuel tank took the hit and kept the car off the ground. Been meaning to get it ali welded up one day as a spare. A replacement cost me about £200. I was not a happy man that day I can tell you ☹️ Give us a mail if you are interested. cheers Carl.

  11. Nice base 1.8 or 1.6 engine as basis for a cheap 1.4 to 1.6/8 swap. Head gasket failure forces upgrade potential...... asking on behalf of a fellow blatchatter. Anyone know where such a thing might be quickly available? regards Carl.

    Mixing engine oil

    😬 lots of OEM's using high quality semi-synths and synths out to 20,000 mile oil drain intervals on petrol cars 😳 not that I'd advodate that on your caterham of course, because as we all know, the lightweight and high revs on the quick blat to the shops knocks the hell out of the 8 litres of our beloved synthetics . ( cor if we could have 8 litres in the focus i'd have you all running 50,000 mile oil drain intervals 😬) I change my oil every 500 miles - but thats because i seem to have cause to take the engine out that often !
