  1. Anyone who has the tool tubes and is looking for a bottle to carry fluids in one, then Aldi have the following on special buy at the moment, which fit the tubes perfectly https://www.aldi.co.uk/adventuridge-1l-drinks-bottle/p/076652150878600
  2. Thanks for letting me in to the pub car park (in the orange CSR) (one from Sevens and Classics?)

Dennis, have a chat to me on Saturday, or at the next East Sussex meet, and we can chat about custom earplugs and protection - a fairly local supplier that caters for pro-motorsport as well as musicians etc. I can provide an intro if needed
  4. SV's will usually attract a premium over S3's due to less around. Seems a reasonable price to me
  5. Would it be possible and simple to have a "sort" selection at the top of the "sender" column in Messages to sort the inbox/sent/All views by sender/recipient? This would make it much easier to find messages to/from a particular member, especially as there are only about 15-20 shown on a page. Also, can we have the number of messages shown on a page increased to say 50, or ALL (or a drop down selection to select a larger number, including ALL? Hopefully both the above would be "remembered" by the site so they don't have to be re-selected each time one accesses the Mailbox.
  6. I'm selling one on ebay here
  7. Thanks but don't think it's either of those as the legend style doesn't match.
  8. Anyone know the make/model (or supplier) of this push button please?:

Good to know he's getting nearer home. Last seen leaving me at Dunsfold in a vaguely Easterly direction with no idea where he was going

If he moves on, follow him
  11. That type of resistor (wirewound ceramic coated) is designed to cope with getting hot so is often used as a limiting or load dump resistor. No idea why it's needed in that particular circuit (haven't followed it through in detail) but I wouldn't worry about it getting hot. Just try to ensure it's not touching other plastic stuff.
  12. CBS sell it by the metre here: http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/insulation
  13. As title really. Anyone got a mounting bracket or cage for a powervamp or similar PVR25 battery?
  14. I would argue that the way the loop of "liquorice" is inserted, and twisted, before the tool is removed on the externally applied ones creates a similar, if not larger "mushroom" inside the tyre. Also the strips are very sticky and do include a bonding agent to help them bond properly to the tyre.
  15. A pair of these upside down might do it Unless the LEDs are constant voltage then the potentiometer type "dimmers" mentioned won't be any good. I suspect they may need a PWM controller but only the manufacturer would be able to confirm that (and often even they don't know as they're bought in assemblies).
  16. Tim, check the fluid levels in the banner.
  17. On 15" not very easy!
  18. I've used one of these on several occasions with success. Sold ont he continent as permanent repair kits for cars, although in the UK many are marketed as "temporary" or "emergency" repair kits. I've had one last for many thousand miles until the tyre go down to the wear bars when it was scrapped. They don't coat the inside of the rims with gunk (that the tyre fitters hate) like the aerosol cans do.
  19. yes that was Alan and I on our way back from Brands when we passed you on the Edenbridge "bypass"

    Yes, stay off the motorways
  21. No idea about the ARB movement Andy, but I will have some part worn CR500's available as soon as I can dig them out - they are 15" though, but if any use let me know or keep an eye on here
  22. Chapman Cars in Ide Hill or Sevens & Classics may still be open?
  23. Boss Racing in Longfield or PGM in Partridge Green?
