  1. I'll take yours then Guy if you don't want them
  2. Tazio, I'll take them off your hands if you don't want them?
  3. Doesn't look anything like related to the cosmetic inner sidewall cracking. For a start it's on the outside. Could it have been driven on almost flat for some distance?
  4. Sorry Gavel, don't come on here much now. No, no need to fix the mesh with anything. It has a "wire" edging to it which I push up under the half hood so it just goes over the top of the roll bar, which holds it in place. It's also held in place between the rear roll bar braces and the half hood straps that run down the top face of them. The bottom edge sometimes bows up a little in the middle but it's not a problem. You can see through the mesh fine, and it keeps the spray (and most of the rain if parked up) from coming into the cockpit and down the bulkhead behind the seats. For a couple of quid it's a very effective accessory.
  5. The SBFS ones can be used either way up. Silver side up is especially useful in hot/sunny weather.
  6. One of these slid between the rear straps of a SBFS hapf-hood and the rear roll bar bracing tubes, and tucked up under the top of the roll bar, works perfectly for incoming rear spray and also very effective against driving rain from the rear when parked up. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sumex-4410009-Lateral-Sunshade-50X100/dp/B001JYE47G/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=rear+car+sunshade&qid=1564944743&s=gateway&sr=8-8
  7. Never had a side strap popper come off at any speed with a SBFS half hood since using it exclusively from 2005. If you fit the recommended one-way popper base then I can't see how it could come undone. Also never had to re-proof one either, using regularly in all weathers. No problems getting it tensioned properly and no flapping at any speed either. I do around 5-8k miles a year so well tested. I drove a car with the Thundersport copy hood and found that it extended slightly too far down on the rear side corner so the over the shoulder safety check meant ducking to see under it - although if you're not tall that may not be an issue.
  8. Is anyone interested in an Epson Stylus Color 3000 A2 printer? It hasn't been used for a while so will probably need a clean/overhaul. Have PDF Manual for it. FREE to a good home! (not mine but advertising for a friend) Located in East Sussex, but could possibly get to North Kent / Kentish Weald meets.
  9. Does the Flasher toggle switch bring on the main beam? If so it's likely a switch/connection problem with the Side/Headlight, or Dip/Main switches. If not probably the fuse (but could still possibly be an issue with the switches above)
  10. Sadly not Ian, but thanks for the heads up. They start off the same but cc machine a huge chunk off the centre hub to increase the offset.
  11. If anyone has one or two lying around, I could be interested. Not desperate about condition as they will only be for spares/alternative tyres.
  12. Are those KKD ones plastic or metal? SV uses metal hinges.
  13. Looks like a neat solution - I've had a couple of bobbins fail over the years (but a lot of miles!). My only concern might be heat transfer down the bolt to the nylon in the nyloc??
  14. or looking at it another way: 176mm long x 125mm wide x 165mm tall
  15. Anthony, I'm not too bothered about weight and I use a Varley Red Top 35 which fits the standard battery tray on my CSR, on it's side (I think there is a sizable members discount from Demon Tweaks on Varley)
  16. Some Sevens aren't subject to the ULEZ charge, but some are Check your own here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle-35896
  17. You passed us (Kent 7s group of about 11 Sevens) in the opposite direction sometime between 8.30 and 9.30am.
  18. If Barry doesn't take the Jack I may be interested
  19. Is your mains adapter a genuine Roberts one, or a generic one? Check the polarity of the adapter as if JK's photo is the right one, it has a negative centre pin which is the opposite to what many generic ones are supplied as. Some allow you to remove part oft he connector and reverse it to change the polarity.
  20. and consequently even the previously barely noticeable "new message" indication is now only visible if you scroll down the menu to "messages". Has there been another "upgrade" This is windows 10 using chrome.
