  1. Ooo,I like that. #17 very clever, never seen one like that before. I like the idea of being able to drive the bit from the handle. Its on my shopping list for this evening along with a new 1/2 drive torque wrench as I'm fed up not having NM as its so old. probably not super accurate anymore either due to its age even though it's never been dropped and I have always unwound any torque settings before putting it to bed.
  2. Cheers I have already tried breaker yard with no luck and even tried looking for Honda concerto parts. Then spoke to a mate and he said he'd just sold on a mot failure 216 to someone to use for parts and would ask the guy he sold it to if he needs the header tank,if not it's mine. fingers crossed
  3. I did perform a forum search but couldn't seem to unearth anything and searching the web was just as fruitless. Being unavailable would explain that. Thank you again.
  4. Happy new year to one and all. please can anyone tell me where to get a k series header tank,or know who is the manufacturer of them. Its the rectangular shaped one not the round one.
  5. Hi, Is the battery tray complete,ie have the top retaining part and the two threaded rods?
  6. Hi, yes I've tried but no reply. I was hoping that they would be open today so I could collect some parts ready for a Christmas fettling. never mind,it'll have to wait for the new year.
  7. I can't seem to find any Christmas hours for the factory stores in Dartford,Does anyone know if the stores are open tomorrow Monday 23rd? or when they reopen? thanks in advance
  8. You're quite right, thank you.
  9. This weekend I will use all three, the Autoglym, white spirit and Isopropyl alcohol and throw in some heat to soften the adhesive. My heat gun AKA wife's hair dryer may not be as powerful as a real deal heat gun but equally probably going to be a lot safer for the paintwork.
  10. Thanks again, wrightpain and revilla, I've got both products so I'll try them both.
  11. can anyone tell me safest without damaging the paintwork or best way to remove the foam and clean up ready to apply new strips? thanks Ralph

  19. Can't beat a good brew not been to Arch since the early nineties for chassis work so would be nice to retrace my steps from the past.
