  2. Ok,I thought it was just air from the oil once it had been separated and not realised it was an oil supply as well. As always, thanks all for your invaluable help,im getting there slowly.
  3. Steve, your a star, looks quite straight forward I just need to be very careful drilling the cam cover. as a thought can you not run the air return pipe to a catch tank rather then drill the cover? anyone?

  5. Steve, my chassis is imperial but it would still give me a good heads up as I have had to to piece together my kit over a few months. r,j thanks again I'll have a look and if Steve sends me over a copy it should stop a novice like me drilling in to the roll bar thinking it was a chassis member

  12. Thanks for that,I'm going shopping. love your car,my roots are in xf sevens from the late eighties up to about 95 when life's economics unfortunately took control and my beloved racer had to go. your car with the choice of colour, the lights ,wheels, stone guards etc looks so bang up to date it's unreal but I bet it sounds a million times better than any post xf car. Thanks again and I hope one day to meet you and drool over your car. thanks,Ralph

  14. I remember seeing a post earlier in the year with someone selling some Bilstein adjustable shocks so on the off chance has anyone got some available to sell. I only need the rears or the adjustment part of the rear shocks but anything in good serviceable order complete or otherwise would be great. Thanks, Ralph
  15. Dave, that is a brilliant piece of kit,it's a shame that you or someone else doesn't take up where you left off, although I completely understand the pita reference with so many variables. do your design drawings not have a marketable value with so many nich companies about, ie sbfs etc. just a thought? Ralph

  22. Thanks Nick, your views are greatly appreciated and answers my question on what type of finish would look best. Interesting that arch used Hammerite satin to touch up repairs, they're work is the best so good enough for them is good enough for me. thanks Ralph
