  1. Mine was tied into the wiring loom near the rear drivers side wheel. Underneath the car.
  2. Dan Watch Rob Oldland's you tube video.
  3. Car builder solutions have a number of catches with different hole spacing. Could be worth a look !
  4. Good choice of words considering your nickname !!
  5. Ring A-Plan they are used to covering cars during a build.
  6. On my 2017 310sv there was a power feed tied into the loom on the chassis accessible from the rear offside wheel arch. I fed that up into the boot and use it to charge my battery.
  7. Guides/ Getting started !!!
  8. I can certainly confirm that Roger knows the PD well following the run he gave the Leic/Notts/Derby group only the other Sunday. Have you used MYroute, that's available to club members. There are some good routes saved on there. https://www.lotus7.club/forum/blattour/new-blat-maps-functionality Martyn
  9. I have SPA GT mirrors on the Eccles mounts. I found I could further stabilize these by making a thin metal bracket that fixed the rear of the Eccles mount to one of the original holes in the door. The other hole is also covered by the mount.
  10. Changed my Roll bar to FIA type on my 2017 SV. I didn't need a new boot cover and the hood fits ok. Suppose it all depends on your model & type of FIA bar.
  11. Don't trust "looks" get the chassis checked out. Mine got bumped & it didn't look bad but the rear basket had to be replaced by Arch motors.
  12. Try googling "mesh lining". These look similar.
  13. Badgers Mount in Elmsthorpe. Or Kirby House in Mallory itself.
  14. Mrp I'm interested in the mirror mounts if they are still available, please PM me details.
  15. I've got FREECOM units mounted in Ear defenders as per https://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/bluetooth-headsets-diy. They work ok. If you are crossing into France it's my understanding that headsets , in a car, are illegal.https://www.thelocal.fr/20150618/french-drivers-banned-from-using-earphones
  16. What jacks , for those with spare wheels, do you carry in the car. I seem to remember people recommending early model Fiesta jacks as being light & compact.
  17. I picked up the spare 12V feed wires & connector that were found on the underside of the rear bulkhead ( 2017 SV). I fed them up into the boot then connected the Ctek plug supplied with the charger. Now I can connect up without cockpit or Engine compartment access.

    Roll bar.

Its only the FIA track bar that has the bolts which require the dampers to be removed. The standard bar is secured as your photo & by the rear mounts.
  19. Bookatrack were selling off their ex-display cycle wings in various colours , I picked my Ballistic Orange one up for £25.
  20. I bought a stainless steel polishing kit to fit on my electric drill from ebay earlier this year. The car had done approx 200 miles. Followed the instructions with the kit and a couple of hours later I had a shiny exhaust. I recommend you do this outside with the exhaust off the car as it does create a load of muck.
  21. The car has only done 300 miles so I'll try & last until its 1000 mile service which I intend to use Bookatrack for. Could do this myself but lets see what they say !
  22. For info: Just checked my 2017 Kit built 310S SV. The workshop note does not seem to have been implemented. The new "tamiya style build manual shows a slightly different routing of the cable to previous editions. I seem to have the REAR WHEELSPEED SENSOR - 2017 reference: 300A0019A My speedo played up for about 30 minutes last week but has been ok since a stop & engine restart. However I now notice my rev counter , although on zero when ignition off, does not read below 1000 rpm seems to be ok above these figures.
  23. Just edited my earlier post wires on my Diagram were Wires were G 68 & GN 227. Appologies. My Sigma diagrams are PDF's of actual drawings not in the build guides Rev A SIGMA TA 2013 CHASSIS HARNESS (30L195A) dated 29/08/13. In the revision description it says: "Lambda connector added. Reverse switch connection changed to pin econoseal with sub loom."
