Just edited my earlier post wires on my Diagram were Wires were G 68 & GN 227. Appologies. My Sigma diagrams are PDF's of actual drawings not in the build guides Rev A SIGMA TA 2013 CHASSIS HARNESS (30L195A) dated 29/08/13. In the revision description it says: "Lambda connector added. Reverse switch connection changed to pin econoseal with sub loom."
It was reachable from inside the car thro' the tunnel opening. I can't be more accurate without jacking up the car & crawling underneath. I checked one of the best build blogs out there, Team Ivan's, & they also had the two wiring connectors on their Mazda gearbox.
I got CC to send me a 2014 Sigma diagram. The reversing light colours were Green & green purple & that matched the diagram. Edit: Wires were G 68 & GN 227
I asked the same question of CC during my recent build. The pair furthest away from the gear lever are the reversing switch. The other pair is the unused , for my 310SV, neutral gear position connector.
Sent my paperwork away 5th December 17 got the documents 4th January 18. I registered mine with a number plate I had on retention. Edit: Money wasn't taken until end of December.
I fixed mine, last year, with spots of superglue on the inner edge of the IVA strip. Hopefully, if I decide to remove it, any debris will be on the inside of the wing.
Did you get an answer regarding the whirring noise from the back end when you connected the battery. I've just notice that I have the same thing. This is before the expected noises from the fuel pump priming when you turn the key / immobiliser prior to start up. I also have the fuel gauge issue see if it works when I top the tank up from the 15L in the AG. My 310 took 30 seconds cranking before getting 4bar pressure. When I fired it up it was only firing on 1 & 4 as 2&3 plug leads were loose. Just sent the IVA application away.
