  1. Got a pair of as new headsets. Tried them once but we didn't get on with them so have gone another route. All the bits are there and in their original boxes etc. £195 for the pair plus P&P
  2. I bought a pair of Sena SPH10 headsets but after a trial run have never used them again (we prefer shouting at each other!). All in their boxes and in, as you would expect, as new condition. Cost me £250 for the pair but looking to move them on for £175 plus postage or free collection. Anyone interested ?
  3. Agree re the 4 point click type but better than inertia reel in my opinion. Just in the process of getting rid of my existing clunk/click 4 points for a pair of nice new blue Luke harnesses. Finished polishing it so had to do something else!!
  4. Thanks everyone for the sound advice. I shall look forward to doing my best efforts when the bits arrive.
  5. I have got the standard roll bar fitted ie no diagonals. Many thanks
  6. From a relative mechanical numpty, is it possible to swap over the standard 4 point harness offering from Caterham for a new 4 point without removing the seat. I have the standard leather offering and they slide forward a long way and I can see the rear bolts. Just hope my arms are long enough!! IThe only reason I ask is that it would appear from posts on other threads that the seats can be a none too easy task to remove. TIA
  7. Just ordered a MXS 5.0 charger to replace a broken cheap unit. Do people run it on the motorcycle setting as the Banner battery is small or is the car setting better?. Have asked their technical helpline but no answer and given up on them after a week of waiting!
  8. Now reduced to £250 for the pair plus P&P.
  9. I have gone the half hood route so now have surplus an as new full hood with zip out rear window and a SBFS hood bag for sale. Would rather sell as a pair £300 OVNO Pictures available on request.
  10. Opinions please - I have just discovered two 50mm long cracks running from the leading edge on the offside front cycle wing. Easy to repair? or is it better to get a new wing and then try and match the paint colour? Another quick fix would be to wrap the leading edge with a carbon fibre wrap and cover the cracks?
  11. Duncan Thanks for that. I am being sent an article by a very kind person who has worked out a solution. Are you still running the standard airfilter or the airbox scenario.? Search I did but couldn't find anything , most likely my total ineptitude!!! James

    Cold Air

Running a 125 Roadsport, the air filter sits in the none too cool environment under the bonnet. Has anyone fitted a cold air induction kit to their car other than the Caterham airbox set up. I am not convinced it will make that much difference but stand to be corrected. I was thinking more of a K&N set up with a pipe to the front end to get what cool air you can. Also a bonus of not cutting holes in the bonnet. Any thoughts tips and advice would be much appreciated
  13. I had always lusted after a genuine Caterham but houses, children and a wife list as long as your arm always seemed to get in the way. However around 7 years ago I got a sevenesque vehicle which I basically re-built which was a useful exercise, sold and bought a GTM Spyder which once again was basically re-built. During all this time I was so lucky that my wife also fell in love with the "silly cars" and we have had many a laugh together both here and on the continent. In January, I sold the GTM and took the plunge and bought a Roadsport from Sevens and Classics. What a difference, they say until you have really driven a Caterham you won't know what we are talking about - how true. Well now we have planned a 2600 mile Europe roadtrip starting in around a months time and we can't wait. Happy motoring with your new Seven and as you are not too far away we may well meet somewhere sometime
  14. Thanks for the advice, I shall go and have a look around the local shops.
