  1. I'll probably get one made up in vinyl for my car, I really don't want to have a different font from the instruments on the back of my car!!
  2. Did you toot me from a silver Picasso/Scenic? Haha, I've only had the aeroscreen a few weeks so I'm trying to make the most of it!!
  3. Holy thread resurrection.... This is now my car, registered C7FAP currently. I can indeed confirm the owner at that time did use it in all weathers, he managed 27,348 miles in it during 2008!! Still going well, 60k on it currently.
  4. Another thing to consider looking at would be the inlet manifold gasket, mine had failed around the forward water port. I also found the fitment of a QED remote thermostat made the cooling system much less susceptible to air locks and a lot more stable in general.
  5. Long shot but does anyone have an unused one of these going spare? NLA from Caterham parts, the xpower bit is not important.http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k112/paul1275s/6AAE13B6-E3BC-435E-B680-E7F84FA108A4_zpswr9e83wd.jpeg
  6. Eastbourne seafront at 15.35, nice weather for it!
  7. The white cuboid is a resistor and the end not connected to the master switch should be connected to an earth on the vehicle body which would also be suitable for your earth for the 12v socket. Wiring diagram for the master switch here if that helps. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=battery+master+switch+wiring+diagram&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=isvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjuhaaZvtfOAhVCFMAKHfVFBsUQ_AUIBygB&biw=1024&bih=672#imgdii=O94jsdY7Hp_RyM%3A%3Bef-U4HPQXR_C0M%3A%3Bef-U4HPQXR_C0M%3A&imgrc=ef-U4HPQXR_C0M%3A

    1.4 ss

Mine was originally a 1.4, the previous owner had Dave fit 1.6 sleeves, pistons and rods to the original block when he had the 13a conversion done.
  9. You should be able to thread some cables up through the grommet in front of the gear lever without removing anything. I currently have both cables connected directly to the battery but the socket I have has an led when powered up so I have to remove the fuse to avoid it draining the battery! I'll rewire via the cut off switch at some point!
  10. Me! Oil change... Back for a windscreen soon after getting a rock flicked up on the way home!!!
  11. Also at the BP garage at Willingdon on Saturday about 4.20?
  12. A pair of the 175 CR500's for me please if there are any remaining. Can collect next week.
