HI all I'm after a rear exhaust back box that would have been fitted to certain HPC's of the early 90's. I want to be able to fit one for touring purposes, so before I venture down the road of having one made, does anybody have one sitting about they've long since replaced with a side silencer? Thank you

I think I'm looking for the unicorn of parts. Does anybody have a c20xe vx2.0 bellhousing to type 9 gearbox that has the integral oil sump included, my vx2.0 is a dry sumped engine and I'm trying to maintain originality by retaining the bellhousing oil supply. Damaged mine so seeing if I can source a replacement before we have it off for repair. Thank you

Anybody have a VDO speedo that works that is surplus to requirements? I think mine has decided to retire....

Mossy, you've seen mine. I at times run 6" fronts and 7" rears, minilite in style, bought from John Brown wheels and chose the gold option. I did have a set of 8" rears, but they kept fouling the de-dion ears and I didn't fancy doing anything major to that on my current 7. As per Toby's post, 205/60 rears and now 185/60 fronts, gives a suitable fill and look period for my car. Or go for a set of 6" and 7/8" rears revolution type alloys, all with the correct offsets for the car. Revolution also do minilite style wheels. I have a set of those waiting for a refresh, could look good on a new 7, now they would be different to the norm.

Dave, I'm keen to take these. Where abouts are you though?

A route for Sunday 21st, no idea how it'll go as its my first go at creating a run. I now can't make it up to Curborough. I only went and broke two of my fingers by shutting my hand in a car door? Thought they were OK, but have been told they are not..... Enjoy, I'll make the next one up there.

Possibly looking for a half screen (drives side only I think it is), I think they're known as the Vauxhall Race car half screen? Could be wrong. I saw someone aedvertise one a few weeks back, but as ever I can't find the ad!

I have just done this, I run 13’s for sprints/track use and go back to the 16’s for the road when touring. I have 6x13 and 7x13 minilites fitted running 185/55 and 205/60 tyres (ZZR and Yoko A048R etc) tyres, the only issue at times on the road is sump clearance, however I could change to a higher sidewall on the fronts to improve this but as I primarily use these on track it’s not that inconvenient 98% of the time. I just have to be wary of the road I’m on. The car comes alive on 13’s and in the majority of situations can be encouraged to step the back out at will. Feels a lot quicker, throttle response is instant, the feel of the car, especially in gear appears much improved. Speedo wise, when they fitted the 16’s did they actually recalibrate this to suit 16’s or did they retain the calibration for 13’s?

I'll do that now however before they hadn't been officially sold.
