    Mine were 50mm and gave a good spread over the whole rev range, but I made sure I had that 25/30mm clearance to the throat.

    I have 16" HPC alloys and they were on my HPC and used for touring. I had no issues with tramlining whatever the road surface however mine had been meticulously set up for fast road and the occasional track use. tramlining is down to the tyres fitted (together with maybe a bush failing allowing movement?), and mine were matched Toyo's all round, really enjoyed it with these however for anything other it was 13" all the way, transforms the cars behavior with those fitted. My current HPC uses 6 & 7x13 minilites and I also have a set of revolution 4s spokes for when I fancy a change!

    these are listed as Stag wheels but 5.5x13" PCD, it does state 114.3 as a stud dia?     thanks both, yes have messages out to Chris, and saw those items. A few months ago someone had the rear tub and front arches for sale on ebay, do you think I can find those now??

    Looking at all options at present, not working so I need to do something! S4 Parts, used items, body tub, seats, etc, there was an add on ebay a few months back for the rear tub and front wings, can't locate that now, but does anyone have parts for this much maligned model?

    OK I have a 1989 7 sprint that is going to be brought back to life and I need some parts. We need the following Motolita Caterham 7 wheel (with the 7 logo in the centre) Long cockpit bench seats Pair of rear light lenses Possible pair of red rear wings Clear non heated screen. I'm in Cambs, happy to pay for items to be posted and can collect in within 30 odd miles of me. Thank you

    the 2.0 vx and xflow share the same carb outlets, the vx 8v had them on the opposite side. Paul I'll send a BM over as I can't picture what you're describing

    yes interesting stuff, this is a late 80's 7, louvres differ from my HPC but I think I may need to go to a metal man to see if the exg bonnet can be brought back to life OR visit Arch as suggested via a PM (thanks Ian).

    Anybody have a decent Ali bonnet for sale, its for a 1989 crossflow 7 with heater but without the central heater vents. The one on this old 7 I have is damaged and ever so slightly bent!
