Chris Coxall
Advice again please Would you get the standard shower cap or the 'special' with the extended front to cover the bonnet 🤔 Thanks
philmorton
Having a standard one and then having seen the extended one on WetBlat I would go for the extended. Covers up the louvres in the rain.

tbird
Ahmed you have to ask for the Manilow Mantle Designed by Martin, Image Here although I must point out he obviously stole the idea from my thoughts as I have been considering making something very similar for a while . glasgow
From the pic it looks like it is made of a similar fabrics of the half hood. Would this scratch the bonnet paint with the effect of wind?

weeman
Quoting Glasgow: From the pic it looks like it is made of a similar fabrics of the half hood. Would this scratch the bonnet paint with the effect of wind? The material is not the same as that of the halfhood. We've used ours extensively in both the wet and the dry (in fact I can't remember when we last parked our car without fitting the cover) and there are no signs of damage to the paintwork. With regard to it being my idea, I have to admit that it was a friends idea, I merely suggested it to to Nick and Jill. Be lucky!! Martin

Dave B
I got one from Ebay for around £50. here. Well my hyperlinking didnt work but, this cover is just the jobby for keeping the heat out of the cockpit, cant vouch for its waterproofing as it hasnt rained since I bought it. Fixes to the car in about 20 secs. Dave B
