  1. we have solved that problem, we only use 3 inch screws and impact drivers or Gaffa , the one exception is when using material to cover things, then its a staple gun set to Half pressure, and the same place in hell that is reserved for the none cable tie flushers is also reserved for those that leave broken bits of staple legs sticking out of flats after the strike.
  2. and they had the audacity to ban the sheds, don't think we want to be associated with it ;-)
  3. Nice Blat though if you take the scenic route Peak district, Dales, north pennines, drop it off with me at Kielder :-) would it strap to the roll bar :-)
  4. He loves it but too far away for collection, sorry
  5. Just gonna flag this up to a friend who is hugely into starwars stuff and a member of one of the biggest "legions" i think they are called, i'll get back to you asap
  6. You broken her, how dare you ;-) i wonder if it's a Landrover part, get exactly those symptoms (along with no int wipe) on TD5s when the switch mounted on the motor dies , it can be un clipped and replaced on TD5 this is the switch if it is similar, part number LR057182 Actually now i come to think about it, i don't think they ever did from new, i just switched of at end of cycle and presumed TADS
  7. Think the woodworm has wrecked the Stairs, all the sheds locks have rusted up, the Curlywurlys have gone rotten and the roof has started to leak, sadly I think the sheds is dead

  9. it's amazingly regular, even with 0 pressure in i have not seen a CR500 on the back of a CSR collapse like that
  10. I used to run 18 Fin, 20 on Skye to give me an extra couple of mm clearance

    CSR Dipstick

Fin You should have both Dipsticks, I put the later style machined one in the car
  16. Maybe, but you have kicked a Hornets nest, maybe best to stick curly wurly and Llama poo in all the holes and stay very still and quiet for a while
  17. Yep there is a clear version, i have use black over POR on wishbones, but that's a very different application, where finish maybe not quite so important, having said that it goes on fine even with a brush and smooths out nicely, obviously can't comment on peelability because i didn't take it off :-) , and as you remarked, no keying surface prior to application, in fact that's probably the last thing you would want to do as would make it less peelable, just wash and wipe over with IPA , mask up and spray away :-) you can even get sparkle top coat for it if you want a bit of bling :-)
  18. the good thing with Plastidip, and probably P1 is that if you cock it up it can be peeled off with no damage , if it's a bit stubborn WD40 will remove the bits and pieces, Frost's also do a similar product, lots of videos about using plastidip , have a look at this as a start
  19. how different is it to using Plastidip clear coat, 5 or 6 coats should give some decent protection
  20. And indeed it was Mine up until a couple of weeks ago :-) , You are correct Finmac that's When we drove down to Greece (Kefalonia in Fact), Mrs B in her Skye Batiks trouser and colour coordinated hat posing next to V7CSR
  21. indeed Ellie, and I ain't going to disagree with our resident paint expert, but Aztec orange isn't metallic , and not sure what you mean by a 3 coat system, it looks like a simple colour base plus topcoat and would have thought a spot Photometer could have given a very close CMYK match which could be made up, admittedly my experience is in inks and dry Toners, but I could usually match most colours, are Paints so different
