Thanks all for the messages and also the emails Simon. I'm checking out LoT as well, hopefully I'll do a Castle Combe date again in 2023 with the club and perhaps something with LoT like Brands Indy and/or Bedford next year

Yep, clamp backed off and silencer rotated upwards, I will see how it is when I next get it out. I may change the clamp as well anyway, a quick measure suggests it's about 60mm I think?

I haven't got a full side on pic to hand and can't check sump clearance at the moment but here's a pic of the full silencer

My Sigma exhaust points down a little which means it grounds due the slope on my drive as I exit the garage. Is removing and then bending the bracket easy?

I was vaguely thinking about this recently but as someone who barely finds time to even wash the car I decided it probably wasn't another hobby I had time for

I always seem to be filling mine up but don't pay much attention to how much I get into it - perhaps I should, I thought it was empty at the weekend and I got only 22 litres in. The fuel gauge works on the basic principle of Full, Full, Full, Empty which can give you a bit of a fright if petrol is not nearby - such as the middle of Wales on the Taffia run.

Caterham were out of stock of the 185's in March when I wanted some and I bought as soon as they reappeared at the end of the month and Avon also had stock at that time and quoted me. IIRC DT were already priced higher back in March when Caterham had no stock, so I don't think they have just gone up and I wasn't sure why their prices were higher back then.

I have been in touch with Oxted to get one of these, there are two thicknesses 1/2" and 1" and I'm going to pop in and try them. I already have lowered floors and don't want to be sitting much higher, has anyone tried the 1" ones? I guess the height difference when compressed is very little between the 2 options and I'd prefer the extra comfort for longer drives. Any thoughts?

I finally got around to fitting the captive nuts for my S3 Aeroscreen but found the passenger side kit is fouling this existing plate which seems to be fitted to the chassis, any ideas?
