  1. I keep the 7 in a long single garage but need to create a bit more garage length by lifting the 7 so I can get a second car tucked a little way under it. It's more for permanent storage than working on cars all the time and I'm looking for any simple and cost effective solution to lift the 7. This photo I saw on PH gives the idea Does anyone have experience of these type of lifts and their sizing for a 7, a couple of links I've seen https://www.strongmanlifts.co.uk/product/tamar-mobile-car-scissor-lift https://automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-7630-mobile-scissor-lift/ https://automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-7532b-3-2t-mid-rise-scissor-lift/
  2. I think they're not much more than that from Oxted for a brand new one?

Hi, what make/condition/size? I'm ok for my outdoor table and BBQ but do need a Caterham travel cover
  4. Road tax costs have become an utter comedy if you have a few slightly older cars. I do a lot more SORN'ing now whereas it the past I'd have left cars taxed all year.
  5. Finally got around to releasing the wiper motor to get the park switch out, will now buy a new one and see if that fixes it
  6. Thanks 22daz, I've just ordered some of these off eBay
  7. Just to echo what's already been said, many thanks to Simon, James, the instructors and also John for the great photos shared today. Super event again this year.
  8. Thanks Nigel - much appreciated, I'll change mine and see if that's the issue Thanks for the files Jonathan, I've now found the right fuse, my handbook seemed to have a completely wrong fuse layout!
  9. I left cat on in the end (ran out of time to remove it) and mine was 93 at CC so way below the 100 limit, so I'll know for my next visit
  10. The park switch might well be a good place to start, I think it's behind here if I'm correct, so not easily accessible?
  11. Thanks Jonathan, I'm going to take another look tomorrow and do have a multimeter. Someone at Castle Combe also talked about the self parking so maybe that's the issue for some reason. I've had the switch out and will do that again and try to find out which fuse will stop it whirring, I had quite a few out yesterday. Manual says it's one of the 15As.
  12. The wipers did stop half way across the screen when it happened but the motor seemingly won't stop
  13. My wipers have seen a lot of action in the last 24 hours, travelling to Castle Combe in torrential rain and they then packed up whilst on circuit. It's not a fuse, the washer still works but the wiper motor is making a sound continuously, even when switched off. When I move it to the faster speed setting I can hear it working faster but nothing at the wipers. The wipers cannot be moved by hand, I was told to check this in case the worm drive had failed. I've had the switch out and tried some contact cleaner but that didn't fix it. Any ideas what the try next? Could it be a switch issue? BTW Rain-x is a great wiper substitute and got me home fine in even more rain on the M5. The car is a 2018 Sigma. BBTW great day out at CC today, thanks Simon and James plus all the instructors!
  14. DPR in Redhill used a place called Service Plus Redhill on mine, I guess that's who does all their MOTs?
  15. I went to see Eric and Jon at Millwood recently for a service but it means a drive up/down the M5 from Devon. Eric was really flexible, so I was in and out really quickly, no losing the car for the whole day.
  16. Does anyone know if the cat removal makes much noise difference on a Sigma 270?, I haven't noticed much difference on mine. I ran with a cat at Castle Combe last year and am there next week but recently have run without it and wondered if there's any likely noise test risk?
  17. Hi Dixa, I'm probably after 3 or 4 but need to check again how many exposed heads there are at the weekend. BTW that half hood was very useful once again when I had about 100 miles in the pouring rain last week
  18. Does anyone know the part number or description of these caps that go over the roll cage bolts and where to get some?
  19. Hi David Should be good, was fun last year, hopefully see you at Guyers or definitely at CC! Sean
  20. Hi Jon Very well organised events, hope you enjoy it! Sean
  21. I would have thought the Cornwall Caterhams WhatsApp group would be a good place to ask. I struggled to find much in the way of Caterham experts in the South West.
  22. I've just booked into the Guyers House again this year for the club trackday, anyone else staying there?
