  6. I bought mine from Big Red on the Internet Standard Sierra rears (not Cosworth) Tony Edited by - TonyR on 11 Jul 2012 17:25:40
  7. Most likely cause is that the cable has worn and is about to snap. If you remove the cable you will be able to see if the strands are starting to break. Tony
  8. I would also suggest broken ring lands. They break often on the 140bhp EU3 engines so with a 20% increase in power they are well over the safety limit. Would be better to fit MG Trophy or forged pistons. Tony Edited by - TonyR on 25 Apr 2012 19:03:10

    Wot no cat

Even if it has a Cat bypass I would have still expected the car to be supplied with a Cat for MOT's etc. It must have had one supplied & fitted for the SVA & MOT. I would contact Caterham ASAP Tony
  10. I have a spare 20 litre drum of Gulf Competition 5w-40 ester-based high performance racing engine oil. Ideal For Duratecs and K Series engines £90

  15. Don't know if it helps but my 2.0 litre Duratec is on Jenveys and uses blue injectors. TonyR Edited by - TonyR on 23 Jan 2012 16:21:35
  16. I doubt it matters if you removed it, as a chromed roll bar would not carry FIA approval. I believe it makes the material more brittle. Tony
  17. Check your ECU fuse as these often blow. If its a 20 amp fuse upgrade to 30 amp. I doubt the loose wire willl have damaged the ECU . You could remove a plug lead & check for a spark. If ok check with a plug & inspect plugs for sparking & signs of unburnt fuel on probes Tony
  18. I made up the hoses for my Duratec install by using hoses, bends &. alloy connecting pieces . I obtained these locally but places such as Car Builder Solutions can supply Alll you need. Tony Edited by - TonyR on 28 Dec 2011 11:34:45
  19. I agree with Peter. I have the under linkage and it's horrible to fit, difficult to adjust. In fact it's a bit of a bodge in my opinion. Did see a nice linkage on the Duratec engine that Northampton Motorsport brought to the last L7 Curborough Sprint. Tony.
  20. I'm sure someone has a tank advertised on Pistonheads TonyR
  21. The 2 degree ears I believe are only available for the uprated rear brakes(no handbrake type) why not shim them, although 2 degree is a lot of camber for the rear. Tony
  22. Just seen a Carbon Dash on eBay here Tony
