  1. Hello esslll, I actually bought it from a vendor on EBay a few years ago. If I can find the ref I will let you know. The purpose of it was to ease the bleeding of the coolant system after a refill etc and is supposed to be located in the pipework at approx the highest point in the run (close to the heater). It should the help bleeding the system without resorting to the more extreme methods sometimes needed. Hope that helps.
  2. I have updated the list with those items that are sold or have had interest expressed. BM's sent as well.
  3. John, just to say I have sent you an email as promised. Robert, I have also dropped you a PM.
  4. Thanks very much John. I am back home from working away on Sunday and if you can message me your email address I will double check the lights and send you a couple of photos to confirm you are happy is that sounds ok? Marcus
  5. Now the car has sadly gone (a while ago but I have been very remiss sorting these out!) I have the following items for sale: 1. 4:1 De-Cat pipe. The four primaries fit into this and run straight through into the single pipe into the silencer meaning the catalytic converter can be removed for track days etc. Was fitted to my K Series R300 that was fitted with the R500 re-packable silencer. Also has Lambda sensor connection. Dull from use but would polish up. £85.00 2. K-Series generic ignition coil for EU3 engine. New unused £10.00. 3. A pair of clear front indicator lenses with orange bulbs £4.00 delivered. All prices above would be plus postage at cost price except where stated or can be collected from Colchester or Oxford. My membership is coming to an end soon so if I cant reply through BM drop me an email at marcuswatkins@hotmail.com
  6. Thanks very much Mankee 😬. I have dropped you a quick mail.
  7. Thats great thank you very much for the replies and very helpful. Hello Mankee great to chat again. if you got a chance it would be great to have your recommendation of places that could do the modification to the pipe. I hope to catch up with you soon. Marcus
  8. I have a K R300 with CAT which has the lambda sensor located in the pipe just before the CAT where the four primaries have gone into one main pipe. If I was to get a CAT bypass pipe that does not have the boss for the lambda in the same location would it be a problem moving the lambda sensor to where what I think is an alternative location in the side of primary 4 inside the engine bay where there appears to be a bolt head covering over a boss location? Would it cause any problem with the MBE map or need re-mapping? Thank you for your advice. Marcus
  9. So I managed a run of about 30mins yesterday and all seemed well but I did not have any stop start traffic so I will keep my fingers crossed that this has solved it at the moment. I will try and update things once there has been a more extensive test. Thank you very much again for all the help and comments Marcus
  10. Hello John & Steve, so I thought I would give you a quick update. I had a go at adjusting the clutch cable this afternoon. When I took the pedal box cover off I could see that the clutch pedal was set a little higher than the brake pedal. The actual cable seemed fine with no obvious broken strands (although most was sheathed in the plastic cover). I found I could loosen the adjuster nuts at the bell housing end but the larger ones at the pedal box end seemed locked tight onto the thread and because of the air filter for the throttle bodies it was very difficult to get a good purchase on them and i was worried about damaging the aluminium plate of the air filter. Luckily I had a spare clutch cable so I decided to change it completely in the end, which was more straight forward than I feared (even for me 😬 ). I set the cable as you suggested John with the minimum thread showing inside the pedal box pedal box but after adjusting the pedal position to sit level with the brake pedal this has left quite a long length of the threaded part showing beyond the yellow plastic sleeve inside the bell-housing end. Is this okay or should I adjust it more at the pedal box end? bell housing end Here is a photo of the pedal position now. adjusted pedal position I have not had a chance to try the car yet with the weather but I thought I would double check if this all looked correct? I saw in another thread someone had looked inside the bell-housing with the engine running to see the CRB spinning? Should I try and see this too when I start it up? Does it tell me anything about the adjustment? Thanks very much, Marcus
