Hi James, i have that exact model pump 😬and use it on the seven (dry sumped)and my smart (they have no sump plug) great bit of kit Ditto to Dave above works a treat *thumbup*ten minute job and No mess got to make sure it's at the very bottom of sump though,as there are a few ledges, that can seem like you are at the bottom,then just pump up twenty times, go make a cuppa and hey presto all done Cheers Mark Superlight R 400

ECR MBE 967 i have the serial port lead already patched in to ECU already downloaded easimap 5.1 Is this ok or should i remove it and put easimap5 on? agree with getting some who knows to save existing map 😳 was a bit wary of just connecting it start up screen looks great (on demo) will have a look on monday Cheers Mark Superlight R 400

Slight highjack sorry 😬 Numpty Question re MBe ECU I have a R400 with a data lead (D plug )attached to MBE ECU, is it just a case of connecting a lap top to this lead and then i can read the installed map?? How do i know which esaimap version i need to read if this is the case? Can i cause a problem with ECU(corrupt) with this approach?? TIA Mark Superlight R 400

  10. Hi John i have used a high temp(400c) silicone sealant on my previous car Motor-Serve in Wolverton do it (made by Granville i think) Only problem i found was taking the exhaust apart again can be a pain 😳 Cheers Mark Superlight R 400

  13. Hi Nick I changed to A48's (have soft all round) from Cr500's and very impressed 😬 they are lasting so well, nearly 5000 miles including Le Mans,St Moritz and Milton Keynes roundabouts ❗ front still like new *eek* need to try harder 😬 Mark Superlight R 400

  20. Steve Not that i am aware of 😳 2nd owner. CC told me that tank was faulty/bad quality ali. Not leaking on corners but porous on front panel so was difficult to trace apart from condensation about half way up 😳 Maybe a few tanks had this problem ??? Well worth calling CC and see if this is a ongoing problem 🤔 Cheers Mark Superlight R 400

Hi Steve, I had a leak 😳and found it to be the tank was porous, seaping fuel out of the front of the tank(felt like condensation) 😳 CCsouth said it was seals, but couldn't find any traces of a leak apart from drips off the bottom ( was told it was a badly made ali tank ) New tank all sorted now 😬 2003 vintage car Hope this helps 😬 Mark Superlight R 400

  24. Ian, Try one of these pela oil extractor pump excellent bit of kit about £30 on ebay. Used mine this week to change oil so easy 😬 Superlight R 400
