  1. We just wanted to say thank you for a most enjoyable day at the club's Snetterton track day yesterday. It was the first club day that we have participated in and found it to be well organised, very welcoming and most friendly. It was great to see so many members enjoying themselves, including us! Kind regards, Andy and Colin (PGM)
  2. If you do decide to go with the CC bell housing tank you will find that the clutch operating arm can be a little on the weak side resulting in poor clutch clearance. (They fracture and bend) We have redesigned and strengthened the arm to avoid this. It is able to be fitted retrospectively as an upgrade if required. Available on our website and currently in stock. www.pgmsussex.com Kind regards PGM
  3. Hi Julian I know this might sound a bit of a red herring but I have come across an inlet manifold gasket causing a similar sound to a squeaking cam belt. Spent an absolute age try to find the noise. It had no apparent running issues and really seemed to be belt related. Just a thought to consider. Kind regards
  4. I believe that Meteor Motorsport still supply the adjustable blade type bars. We have supplied and fitted several over the last couple of years. King regards PGM
  5. Hi, although out of stock at the moment PGM offer this replacement:- https://www.pgmsussex.com/product-page/battery-upgrade-kit Along with a lower base and top lid to fit the standard battery tray. There are several variations of top to fit both the older trays and straps as well as later models which have the ecu fitted underneath the battery tray. These parts are made in house so will be up and running once this crisis is over. The spec of the battery is on the webpage. Kind regards PGM
  6. From experience at race meetings we have always found Luke to be most helpful, guess we have probably helped him on occasions to but in general I think you will find all the race teams always willing. Kind regards PGM
  7. Hi, we thought it might be of help to let the club members know that we have developed an uprated clutch fork for the above mentioned K series. It can be found at:- https://www.pgmsussex.com/product-page/clutch-arm-k-series-uprated Kind regards Andy and Colin

  9. Just to be on the safe side why not borrow a mechanical gauge just to confirm that your readings are correct? Kind regards Colin
  10. It isn't just our type of cars that have wider limits for the lambda readings. Quite a few of the newer BMW's have a much higher limit due to their design. Watched my local tester selecting various menus to allow a Late 3 series to be tested.

    Leak

Just wondered if the fluid is fairly clear? Could be clutch fluid if the the release bearing has a weep. Is the leak constant when the engine is running? The rear main would only fail if it had been incorrectly fitted. Which area do you live in? If you are near either North Kent or West Sussex I would be able to pop in and have a look for you in the new year as I travel between those destinations. Alternatively I'm sure that there are other club members who would be willing to offer advice. Kind regards PGM (Colin)

    Tyres again

Agree, but the zzs is designed for the car and at the end of the day that's all there is between you and the road. Kind regards PGM

We have an Automotech two post lift in our workshop and have found it to be a very good product. Also found them easy to deal with. Kind regards PGM

Hi Just wondered if you have given the zzs's any thought? https://caterhamparts.co.uk/zzs/6975-tyre-avon-zzs-195-50r15.html All the best PGM
  16. Hi Not sure if this could be of help but I do know that Millwoods have recently remanufactured bell housings suitable for type 9 gearbox fitment. They mentioned that they may be suitable for various BL vehicles. Maybe worth giving Jon Vickers a call? Kind regards Colin@PGM

    New Battery

Hi SM25T Yes you are correct it isn't inexpensive, but having seen some highly dubious even dangerous fitments of batteries over time we thought an upgrade might be useful to a proportion of owners. As I'm sure you can appreciate a considerable amount of time and effort has gone into the design and production. Kind regards Colin@PGM
  18. Hi Anthony Good to know that we are Swiss approved regards PGM.
  19. Hi Tony Pleased to have seen that picture. Must thank Mark for posting it! Of course we won't mention it next time you pop into the workshop. Best regards Colin
  20. PGM have also produced various 3D printed mirror mounts. Never been an issue with them being securely cable tied when scrutineered at race meetings.

    Handbrake

Hi, we have recently fitted additional electric spot calipers to our own car which is slowly being rebuilt. It originally had the under dash lever. It does go against adding weight but we felt it was worth the effort given the position of the original lever. Apart from the parking brake, once applied if the cut off key is removed it makes it extremely difficult for anyone to move the car when left unattended. The modification isn't to every owners taste but it was a personal decision for our rebuild. Kind regards the PGM team
